I'm a grandma with lower back problems. This cart is great for moving groceries and other items from my car to my house. I also use it for moving things for gardening.

This cart is heavy duty. I hauled in it 2 gallons if milk and a ton of other groceries on the bus and it has held up great.

I bought this with a grain of salt and relied on a product review. I was much supprised to put it together (very easy) and see that this is a better looking cart that I had purchased in college many years ago. My more expensive (even 40 years ago) old cart didn't last very long and was not built as well as this one. Turning is a problem with the 4 fixed wheels unless you tilt it back. Goes up and down street curbs like a champ! Hint: Use trash bags as a liner!

Has anyone ever used it to carry stuff to the beach? I'm wondering if the wheels will just sink into the sand and make it too hard to move, or if it will work well in very fine, soft sand? It would make it a lot easier to carry a backpack, cooler, towels, blanket, sand/water toys, etc. I would even lash the folded beack chairs and umbrella to it with bungee cords if possible. Someone please let me know if it will work for this. Thanks

    • A. Probably OK for hard packed sand but I think it would not work well in soft, loose sand. Never tried it, though. Something with wider tires would be better.

    • A. My Mother n law uses it for laundry, groceries and all sorts of things. As for the beach...I'm not sure. I'd think it would be hard to pull or push. It would need to be heavier.

    • A. It would not do well in the sand if heavily loaded. The cart itself does not hold up very well if heavily loaded, and would not do well in the sand, unless just loading up a few very light items.

    • A. The wheels do not turn corners very well as they do not swivel. You cannot put to much weight in it. Ours broke on the second day of use, trying to tip it back a bit to turn a corner

    • A. I doubt it would fit in a suitcase and I wouldn't check it without having it in a box. It is very lightweight and I'm afraid it might bend with the way luggage is handled.
