This mat is made out of PVC material, no latex.

The label wrapped around the mat doesn&#39;t say what it&#39;s made of, all it says is that is phthalate free. They do have a website tone-fitness.com and you may be able to contact them directly.

It does not state what it is made of....it is some sort of plastic....It does state that it is free of phthalate, which is a mixture of chemicals that softens plastic.   This mat is soft in spite of not having these chemicals in it.   Not sure what other chemicals it may have.  If you go on walmart website you may be able to find out if it is latex or not.   Sorry, that I do not have that info for you.

Maybe if you&#39;re not planning to be rough on it. It&#39;s like cheap foam that tears REALLY easily. If you lay your nails on it, chunks will come off.

Nice mat.

I have a dog recovering from back surgery and hind quarter paralysis.  He needs to have traction when learning to walk again.  I have a path using these yoga mats throughout the house enabling my dog to exercise his legs and to move about the  house.   Good value for a good price.

Great value and cute product

This was a Christmas present for my 3 year old daughter. She loves to do yoga and somersaults. This mat is perfect for her! It's provides a softer space for her to practice. It is rather thin, so if you have sensitive wrists you might want something thicker. 

 The mat did have a strong plastic smell when I first unwrapped it. Other people in the house were also noticing it so I laid the mat over a chair outside, overnight and the smell was completely gone by the next day. Overall a great purchase for the price!

Tone Fitness Yoga Mat

Not only is it comfortable but I love the design.  My only problem is that it smells.  And it had a very strong smell to it.  I'm hoping it goes away after being out for a while.

Very nice

It's pretty, but they shrink wrapped it to the point my already injured shoulder and neck went into pain, and even though I didn't originally want to, I had to try to cut it open, and in doing so, the mat got a good size slice in it! To the company, DO NOT SHRINK WRAP YOUR PRODUCTS TO DEATH!!!

Bad packaging

When the mat is unrolled, it has an awful odor. It made me feel sick when doing floor exercises when my head was on it!  I took it out of my car and 24 hrs later, my car still wreaks of that atrocious smell! I am thinking of returning it.

Great color, cute design. Completed fell apart and there are red pieces all over the place. Disappointed in the durability.
