Yes, it will. But you must make sure that you turn on your heat, full blast (does not matter if it is the floor vents or dash vents) while you have this additive running in your system. With the heat on, it then allows the coolant and additive to run through the heater core.

Yes, it will. Just make sure that while you have this additive running through your system, your heat is turned on midway to full blast. Doing this allows the additive to clean the heater core because the heater core only opens when the heat is turned on.

will this help clean the heater core also.

Not, it can not just be added to the system and left there. This is a very corrosive product and leaving it in the system for an extended period of time will have this stuff eating away at your cooling system / engine internal components. To be on the safe side, add this product to your cooling system, drive around for about 75 - 125 miles (with the heat on so that it cleans your heater core as well), then flush it out according to the directions. If you can not see yourself driving 75 - 125 miles that day, then letting it sit in your system for about 2 days with normal driving should do the job. I would also add a bottle to the reservoir tank so that it can break up the rust and contaminants that build up inside of the tank making it look dark and ugly......remember that goes out as well during the flushing process.

1. Drain engine coolant
2. Pour cleaner into cooling system and fill remaining with water
3. Run engine at normal operating temps for 30 minutes with the Air conditioning on full heat
4. When engine cools down, drain cooling system, and refill with straight water. (Do NOT add cold water to a hot engine, you WILL destroy it!!!)
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the water you are draining from the cooling system is clear.

This stuff knocks rust loose like nobody's business. Add this product, drive around for a while, and flush it out. I had to treat my car twice. My car's coolant is now a bright, translucent green. Heat is good, and running temp is perfect.

This item arrived in perfect condition, it had a plastic bag around the outside just in case it leaked, but it didn't leak, because I was hand delivered with care, directly to my porch.

 Amazon, tosses packages on my porch, and they're usually liquids, so they're damaged on every delivery, not with Walmart , it was another 50 star delivery, from yet another amazing delivery person!

It gets out crud and rust.  I don't know if it is the best, but it is inexpensive.  I'd purchased it twice because it keeps flushing out more crud from my engine.
