I bought 4 sets of these and they work great! I have it on, then cover it with my mattress pad &  feather bed topper, so I don't feel the vinyl texture, (which isn't a breathable material). I used 2 sets to cover my bed & box spring. I have the other 2 to cover the guest bedroom matress set.

Good quality and serves it's purpose.

I bought these after apartment ended up infested with bed bugs. (neighbors got them and we ended up with them. ) They are absolutely doing the job. I bought a queen size for a full mattress and it is doing a great job and working fine.

Agreat item

I bought this for my live in nanny because she has female dogs and when they are menstrating I did not want them to ruin the bed. This has worked perfectly for her and makes clean up a breeze in case of accidents. I have a two year old son who can spill everything you give him and can some times sleep so hard he pees through his diaper. I was afraid it would make that crinkle noise like most vinyl covers. With this one having a zipper it does not fall off the bed (which is the best part) and it does not make a lot of noise like most vinyl covers. Great product!!!

Exactly what I wanted

Bought this to cover a Queen size Air Mattress that we have for extra protection from holes etc.  because we went thru several because of our cats sticking there claws in the sides of it trying to dig there toys out so this was an idea I had, so far so good. Ordered Queen size cover n it fits perfect.

Good Fit...

This isn't a complex item.  It's a zippered mattress cover, so it encloses the mattress completely.  I've always used these on all of our mattresses because you never know when a sick child is going to crawl in bed and hurl.  This creates a clean barrier between the mattress and the sick kid, keeping the mattress far cleaner and longer lasting.  I also use a padded fabric mattress cover over this to keep from rubbing sheets against the plastic of the mattress cover.  There is usually a 50/50 chance that the local WalMart will not have the size I need in stock, so I recommend buying one online and have it delivered to your local store.  Expect that the mattress cover can tear, so don't think it will last forever, so I replace them as often as needed and my mattresses look clean and new even when they are more than a decade old.

Exactly what you think

I purchased 4 of these and two ripped while I was putting them on. I'd say that you get what you pay for, but once they rip you really get nothing. I probably would have done better using giant garbage bags to cover the twin mattress. I gave them three stars because the ones that didn't rip seem to be okay right now and the plastic isn't easily felt under the sheets.

I bought the king size and it is SO BIG. I actually had to tuck it under the mattress and now my fitted sheet doesn't want to stay on. 
I can't speak to the water proofness because my son hasn't peed in my bed yet.

Less is More

As soon as I put this on my bed, it ripped. It ripped in so many places and I've put threaded shipping tape on it to just keep it intact.  A totally useless product.  Needs revamping to get it back to being a mattress cover!
