great addition to the original.
I originally saw 300:rise of an empire in theatres. I finally bought it on a Blu-ray - DVD combo pack. this was an amazing addition to the first one. it had so much action, special effects and swordplay. I would recommend this great addition to anybody who saw and liked the first one.

300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE
Overall it is a very good sequel. However, there is a lot of moving back and forth from the present to the past. The graphics and special effects are great. The music does tend to override the actors voices in places and the volume has to be turned up to catch what they are saying. Surround sound might fix this problem. The Spartans do not have as much of a role in this sequel, so there is more ship to ship battles than there are land battles. Can't wait until the next sequel to this series. Should have more Spartan fighting in that one.
