We used this bed with a standard twin mattress and it fits well.

Yes, this will work fine as a replacement for box springs, but check the dimensions of the mattress. I found it to be a bit small for a twin size.

we use a standard queen, we added a 4" foam topper for comfort, extremely comfortable.

We did and it worked fine, eliminated the box spring

The product description does state that "The Premier Flex Platform Metal Bed Frame with Adjustable Lumbar Support is a superior constructed black metal bed frame with birch plywood slats to fit standard mattresses." It also states that it fits a "Full/Queen/King size holds up to 300 lbs of dynamic weight per side for a total of 600 lbs". In saying that, yes it will allow for the use of a regular matress.

Any type of mattress can be used with the Premier Flex Platform Bed Frame.

This frame does not work well, on a light weight spring core 11 (H) x 38 (W) Twin mattress. My mattress kept sliding off the frame. Make sure that you measure your mattress, before you purchase the frame. If the mattress is too wide or too long, it will slide off the frame, when in use.

Will this frame work with a memory foam full size @ 125 lbs

I don't think I would- not sure it could handle the weight.

I won't put a box spring on it. The mattress can be put on the bed directly. Also, putting a box spring and mattress on top of this bed will be too tall.

The Premier Flex Platform Bed Frame can be used with both a mattress and/or base-boxspring but is not required.

This bed does not require a box spring, if you put a box spring and a mattress, it will be to high. The mattress can be applied directly on the frame.

Its pretty high with a pillow top mattress and 2 inches of memory foam. The frame is meant to replace your box spring. I think it would be very high bed if you put the box spring and mattress depending on how thick they are.

No - it would simply be too high... You'd need a step-ladder to get on your bed... This item is designed to be the replacement for your box spring.

I would guess that depends on the weight of the mattress and box spring combined with the weight of the people who will sleep on the bed, as long as it does not exceed the weight limit. However platforms are made so you don't need a box spring, they actually replace the box spring. A metal bed frame made for traditional mattress with box spring would probably be about the same price!

Can I put my box spring and my top mattress on it?

I would find a better solution. The steel rails ARE very strong, but without he support legs I doubt it would last long.

It is not recommended to use the Premier Flex Platform Bed Frame without all the support legs.

There has to be some kind of support there. The frame isn't strong enough by itself to support weight without the legs.

I don't see how this would be a problem, as long as it is supported by the beds existing side rails. But something else you could consider is to use a small hand saw and remove only the area of the wood where the center legs are. This would ensure the center weight of the bed.

I would suggest using something for support in the center section of the frame - just for the support and to withstand the weight of 2 people and for comfort -otherwise you're depending on the slats alone - I think in time it would cause bowing in the center area.
