I got it at $15.00 my local store. Really lucky since my store doesn't carry hardly anything these days, not even the special Best of TV. offer items.
Nothing like the show of today, just better. Worth getting for less than $15.00
Now if only the other seasons will show up at my Walmart, ordering online, isn't worth it because they always get damaged in always even ship to store are damaged broken cases etc.

wonderful entertainment

I decided I wanted to see this series from the beginning, chronologically, through to the end. This was, of course the best start! I don't care for the extraneous characters in this one, but it didn't take them long to get rid of them, so I can take it. Great series! No matter which L&O you go for, having the DVDs is the best way to experience them all!

In The Beginning

I got it almost a week before the site said I would and the quality is great- since it started in late 1990's. haha. I love this series and this was just the first of the entire series I'll eventually be getting.

The show is great and so is the price, it's the packaging that I'm disappointed in. The box was pretty beat up. All the corners were smashed and torn a little. Other than that it's fine.

This product is a 2nd hand DVD, not the original.  Quality of the picture is very unclear.  Sound is not clear.  The box covering is original.  It appears that the original DVD's were taken out and were replaced with this 2nd hand copy set.

I bought this DVD set only to return it as the packaging was destroyed. This was purchased as a gift and I simply couldn't present this as one. I ordered another one from Amazon and it arrived just in time and with better packaging. Sorry but you proved to disappoint me Walmart.
