There is no training CD, but there are programs built in and a manual on how to use the unit.

NO. In fact, you just select a number and start working out. The book doesn't tell you what each workout is. You just select one and start working out.

No, it doesn't come with a training CD but I do think that you can look on the Proform site or even Youtube for videos to help you exercise with this certain machine.

The LCD monitor requires AA batteries (not included) but, otherwise, this is an un-powered machine.

There is an adapter that can be plugged into the Pro Form hybrid trainer. I haven&#39;t been able to find the right one. I even ordered it from the ProForm website but it was the wrong size. I am going to see if Walmart has it since they now sell it.

I did a lot of research for a workout machine that would have zero impact on the knees but provide top results on a cardio workout. This machine is well designed, of good quality parts, and not bad on the price. The only negative thing I could say about this product is you have to put it together. It took me about three and a half hours. However, after working out on it, it was well worth it. It felt like I was walking on air as far as no pressure on the knees but the workout was there. I like the fact you can also work out your arms and sit down and ride a bike as a workout. You will be pleased.
