I set my unit to 63 degrees for clod but it won't get cold it's the big 14cc unit why I drained it and still won't get really cold in bedroom

This machine works well, although it is a bit loud. Compares favorably to similar machines I have had in the past. Price seems a bit high, but handles the job well.

Great product--good features--would buy again

Here in Houston, TX, the humidity was more than our Edge Star could handle by itself because it kept turning itself off due to a full tank. It was very difficult to drain, so we found this model that has a threaded attachment for a hose to drain the condensation as it runs. The window kit was easy to install and the constant drain keeps the 20' x 14' room in the 70's most of the time. We have both units running, so are wondering what it will do to our electric bill...

We bought this to cool our three car garage. It works really well. What a difference. Even with gaps around our garage door and 100+ Texas temps, it makes the garage really cool.

Only used the A/C for now. Works GREAT!!! Nice for our guest suite. It's a little loud when you have the fan on full blast, but when it's on the low speed it's not bad. Better than a window A/C or a fan.

Works Great.

This unit comes with a hose that pushes out exhaust heat.  Wrap this hose with Reflectix duct wrap and tape to force the heat out of your controlled climate.  I use in a 400sq/ft garage in the August SC heat.  30 minutes of run-time and you'll forget how hot it is outside.

Cost Worthy

Honeywell has the reputation for making the best ! They have suceeded with this A/C - heat pump ! It trully is an all in one . The only little blip is the way the exaust turns to go out the window . We made it work ! If you need a one roomer ;;; you can't beat this one with a stick !

Fully Loaded !!

This unit does THE job, meaning it cools a room well and fast. The problem for me was that I bought it to cool my BEDroom.  Mission accomplished. At the same time, it was too loud for a good night's sleep. I understand all portable air conditioners are noisy. However, I'm not sure if I'd recommend it if the only room you're interested in cooling is your bedroom at night, which is my situation. In a nutshell, it works well and fast. But it's loud.

Works great, but not for your bedroom

I have a 700+ square foot apartment and it cools the entire place. Only qualm is that the unit is very loud. VERY difficult to hear someone 15 feet away talking at a normal voice (I'm far from hard off hearing too). On the positive side it was easy to install. I must say that the unit is about 4 times larder than the picture leads on, I was expecting a carry on sized unit and ended up with a full suitcase with junk in the trunk. The window install plastic that is include is of very poor quality if you need to install in a vertical window. Also, for me it was about 6 inches too short so I had to improvise with rags and duct tape. Additionally, the plastic plugs/screws it comes with will fall out very easily when installing the unit. Outdoor noise from unit is near silent.
