These will be used for a use not envisioned by the manufacturer - Geocaching!  A magnetic key holder is ideal for hiding a geocache on a ferrous metal location.  They are roomy enough for the sign-in sheet (BYOP).  I have seen other brands, some made of metal, some not water tight.  Rusty and soggy are not friends of the hobby!  These are water resistant and plastic (except for the magnet).  BTW, they are good for hiding keys also!

The magnet is very strong. I had the first one for years but eventually with the wet of the dirt roads and snow the magnets started to get eaten a bit. I am not taking any chances so I got a new one.  It is 5*

The case is vey thick plastic and the door is secure. The  magnet is very strong too.

Tough case

Bought this because my boyfriend kept locking himself out of the car and a locksmith costs a fortune. For only $2 this little thing ensures that we always have a way into the car. I secured the box underneath the rear bumper of the car where both magnets could make contact with a flat surface and it hasn't come off yet.
