Makes perfect rice. Everything about this rice cooker is high quality. The stainless steel pot had a nice polish and an ultra base to keep the heat distributed evenly.

Very nice quality

Cooks rice perfectly. I am not sure the bowl is stainless steel though. I definitely did not want the non stick coated type. Only purchase this with the need of 4 cups of cooked rice. Which is perfect for one to three people. I would not suggest doing 6 cups in it. Pay attention to the instructions on the flap of the box.

Perfect rice everytime.

Was tired of constantly replacing my rice cookers because the Teflon pot would show signs of wear rather quickly. I suspect that material is not healthy to have in my rice, so I did a search for stainless steel rice cookers, it seems they are not easy to find at a reasonable price.

Inner pot is of good quality, not flimsy. I don't find the rice sticking that much as some have complained of. I don't let it sit for more than an hour on the warm cycle and a short soak takes care of any rice that might have stuck. I don't find it sputtering much, I suspect if you use too much water that would happen. The cup that is included with the cooker actually measures 3/4 cup regular American size, so if you have a large family consider the larger size. This one is fine for 2 people. We cook rice just about every day and I am happy with this cooker. Have used for a month, no complaints. Price is good, loved Walmart's free pickup at store.

Works perfect and doesn't have a non stick coating which is the only reason I had to replace my old rice cooker. Would recommend and honestly isn't harder to clean than my previous non stick rice cooker. Bowl seems heavy duty too so should last for years

Works great

the rice cooker needs to be unplugged between uses, keep warm setting ii think is a bit too hot, hole in lid makes for inconvenient storage until next day. and uses more water-makes steam. i would prefer these 3 issues were resolved by aroma instead of me. nice small size tho, and being stainless is a 'must have' feature because i can use a metal spoon to scoop rice with. i bot a on-off plug adapter from home depot. this contraption does cook the best rice i ever ate, don't fully know why but it does.

not perfect

Rice cooker arrived today. I washed it right away so I could try it out. I don't like nonstick rice cookers as I have forgotten and used a metal spoon and scratched the bottom of the pot and had to throw them away.
I was so happy to find this stainless steel rice cooker. I thought it might be a little expensive but I do not expect to have to buy a new one for a long time.
This stainless steel rice cooker is just perfect. The rice came out perfect.
We are a two people family and I used 1/2 cup washed brown rice and 1-1/3 cups water, 1 TAB butter, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp Tumeric. to make 1 cup cooked rice. .
I read my cookbook rice cooker instructions and this is the order it should be placed in the rice cooker before cutting it on.
Butter or oil
salt and Tumeric, and any other spices being used
washed rice evenly spread out
Water is last in the pot
If I was making beans and rice or peas and rice I would put them in before the water. I don't add extra water with peas or beans.
If I am using Lipton dried soup, which I use frequently, I would put it in before the water and I increase the water to almost 1-1/2 cups. I like the vegetable soup a lot. I tried Knorr vegetable and everyone complained about the taste and saltiness.

Stainless steel pot and the rice cooked perfectly.

This little thing cooks much faster than my old non-stick rice cooker. It will cook 1.5 cups of rice in 1 hour. I love that the cooking bowl is made from solid stainless steel. It's a much better option for the health conscious home chef! It's a nice small rice cooker that's easy to clean. Comes with a solid bamboo serving spoon.

Fantastic alternative to non-stick rice cookers!

I like the appearance of this rice cooker, and it prepares the rice perfectly. On the negative side, the rice sticks to the bottom, even when a little oil is used. It's easy enough to clean when soaked for awhile, but there remains a pattern of rice grains on the bottom of the pan. Also, I had hoped it would be large enough to make enough rice for four servings, but you can only get three servings comfortably.

I bought this product because of the stainless steel container. When I cooked 2 cups of rice, the water was boiling all over the lid and the spillover caused a mess. A bigger size is probably better to contain spillover.
