When preparing french dip for a family party this works out tremendously! Just add water and go. The small package makes it possible to get enough and not have an enormous amount left afterword. Great and I use all the time.

I buy Philly Cheese Steaks from Schwans for sandwiches on hard hoagie rolls and use the for the Au jus. Very convenient and tasty. It's also good for making gravy.

Great au jus for French Dip sandwiches

I've used this product for several years and it always turns out delicious for making French Dip sandwiches. I also use it for roast beef, stews and gravy. Very tasty, not salty and easy to use. I dilute it a little depending on what I'm making. Highly recommend this for a variety of dishes.

Johnny's French Dip

This stuff is great.  (I use steakum, I can get 10 sandwiches out of a $9.99 BOX.) For 2 french dip sandwhiches on hard sub rolls, I make 1/3 cup of concentrated Johnny's, and 2/3 cup of water. Then I boil it and stir it in the same little skillet I used to cook the meat. It is the perfect amount for 2 sandwiches. I used 1/4 cup concentrate and 1/2 cup water for just one sandwich. I have at least 1/2 a bottle left, and we've eaten 6 sandwiches. We only quit because they only sent me 6 sub rolls! I'm going to try adding some concentrate to my veggie soup to give it a beefy flavor. Or maybe to my gravy next time I make shepherds pie. It is great stuff. And you can make as little or as much as you want and store the concentrate in the fridge till next time.  I'm sad that I no longer see it in the inventory at my store.

This product makes the absolute best ever au jus. Our primary use for it is to make French Dip sandwiches, a weeknight favorite. But it is also great for French Onion Soup, a marinade for hamburgers or steaks or to make a wonderful Bloody Mary or salad dressing. I wish I could win the sweepstakes so I could stock my cabinets with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
