yes, but it cools quick and one tank lasts a really long time

yes for 30 min between refills. However the water lasts for a while. However the blue model called steamfast is a better machine. This one leaves a lot of water behind as the blue one does not.

No, however if you refill it right away, make sure you have let out all the steam before opening the tank. Do not pour the water in fast, otherwise it will bubble and "spit" back at you. Take your time and you can refill it right away and keep cleaning.

Yes, or just open the cap very very slowly. It's like a hot radiator. I let it cool for a few minutes and then just crack the cap a little to let the steam escape.

I do not let my cleaner cool off before adding water and have had no problem. It does hold a lot more than my pervious steamer. I fill mine until I see the water come to the top of the hole where you pour it and where the black handle tightens after refilling it.

I did a bit of research prior to purchasing the McCullouch MC1275 model steam cleaner. I looked at the length of time you could use the machine without having to fill it up and wait for the steam to start producing again. How versatile the machine was with its hose and accessories. How forceful was the steam jet from the machine and how safe was it to handle when the machine was in use.
This model is light weight, generates enough steam to do most jobs without refilling and waiting for it to produce steam again. The attachments are sturdy, so no need to worry about getting burnt by the product itself. I was underwhelmed by my imagined desire for that blast or poof of steam while I clean the bathroom. I found it a little lacking. This doesn't mean that it does not generate that blast but I wish it would have been a bit more forceful. Still early days for me with this machine and I am sure I will get a good handle on the poofs.

Great Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner for home use

Couldn't be more thrilled at the overall features of this steam cleaner. I did a lot of research before purchasing this little power tool. It comes equipped with everything you need to complete whatever task you are up to tackling. So far no task has been too much for me and my steam cleaner. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone. Good value for a fair price.

Compact machine for heavy-duty jobs!

I got this because I have asthma. There is no smell.I have a white kitchen floor I used to have to get on my hands and knees and scrub with bleach water and a brush. With this machine I don't have to do that.I just use the mop attachment and it cleans the floors so good.It has saved me a lot of time and pain. I love this little machine.

Great little machine

I purchased the steam cleaner to clean the grout in our house we bought last year. It did a terrific job! I have also used it to clean around the faucets, did a great job there too! Would definitely recommend this steam cleaner!

Great Steam Cleaner

When I first received my steamer I think I tried it out on everything from shower walls, floors, sliding doors and window tracks, to inside and outside microwave, refridgerator, stove tops and countertops. Baseboards were a breeze, fingerprints on the walls would practically melt off, raised paneled doors and cabinets were done in a snap. I absolutely love this machine. I do wish other attachments would have come with it to steam clean upholstery and carpets however this machine was well worth every penny spent and I would buy it again!

Makes cleaning fun

I have my motorcycle in a storage unit and there are no washing facilities. With this steamer cleaning system I do not need a hose or detergent. Just a cloth for hand drying. It is compact and easy to store. 24oz of water cleans my motorcycle from dirt, bugs and tough dirt that gets into the engine finish without making a mess. I am a happier biker now!!!!

I think this is for a quick & easy job...it works very good, cleans , sanitised & gets a dirty place clean no dought about it. Just a little bit of a hassle to be buying distilled water putting a cone measuring the amount of water waiting till it warms up its not for a lazy person lol its good but not good enough
