I know this can be used on a laptop and lcd monitor but can it also be used on the old types of monitors?

For me, it's not nearly as good for lighting in minimal light. However, the focus, once it starts adjusting, is spot on.

It has light right Technology built in, and functions in near darkness.

Does it still work well or focus in the dark ?

Works on my Brand new Dell with with Windows home premium with out a glitch.

I have windows 7 and it works great. I recommend it. The quality of the picture is excellent.

I did a lot of research before selecting a webcam and after seeing how many great reviews this logitech webcam had I knew I had to get it. I love this webcam the quaity is excellent. I was shocked at how clear and crisp the images are. Everyone I webchat with always compliments on how great the quality is. It has a feature which enables you to directly upload your videos onto youtube which is very cool. I also love all the fun face accesories and avatar this camera has. It's def. worth every penny.

LOVE IT

i love it! ive only had it a few days but its holding up to its expectations so far. havent had any problems at all and the clarity is awsome i use it for video messaging and its great for that. i didnt get it from walmrt instead at office depot which was 99.00 plus got tha extra 12.00 warrenty on it so if breaks or anything within 2ys they will send me a 100.00 gift card just to replace it.

This webcam was very easy to install, has a sharp picture, and will give you quality to the limits of your computer and Internet connection. Comes with some useful software to adjust you picture, take videos and still pics, ensure your privacy and more.

All in all, a great value. While this camera is a little more expensive, it's worth paying a little bit extra to get much better quality. I highly recommend it.

Very fine quality webcam

You looking for a good webcam well here it is. I just got this and im all ready talking to eveyone this is the best out there so far you must go and get you one.

This Is It

The camera is an excellent unit, Very good color and clarity. It has some very nice control feature as well. Vista Home Premium found and loaded the drivers, easy to use and comes with some nice software. Only one problem (minor) web cam browser will reset your network drivers to it's default drivers, caused me to temporarily lose my DSL connection.

Vista 64 Upgrade

This product lived up to reviews on C-Net. It was easy to install and easy to use with either Skype or AIM. The quality of the video is very good and it has a feature that automatically brightens the picture if there is low light.
I didn't have a web cam before this one, but it was worth paying more because the quality of the video is definitely superior to the $19 or $29 versions that I looked at.

Great product

I love this webcam. It has a very clear picture and the autolight feature is amazing. It guages if there is enough light in your room and adjusts automatically for the best picture. I also love the nifty features. It has avatars that conform to your facial movements, facial "add ons" like masks and other cute/funny things as well as various special effects that you can add. The live picture can be a bit choppy if you don;'t have the correct capabilities to run it, but the movies it takes are clear as a bell. and the pictures are amazing, plus the rance of resolutions is very nice. you can only record up to 2MP, but it takes up to 8MP stills, with amazing clarity! I highly recommend this camera if you are in the market for a fine camera with good picture!

I read the reviews for this webcam and decided to try it based on the what customers said about it having near perfect resolution and it does not disappoint. I've seen webcams were you can hardly focus on the the person your talking to, not so with this one. I can seen everything so clearly it's a little scary and sound quality is excellent. A lttle pricey as webcams go, but I don't see myself having to upgrade any time soon.
