I would suggest that you locate it wherever is most convenient for set up, keeping the screen clean and close to a power source.

The screen only needs power and room, concerns other than the screen are the darker it is the better the picture, so field sounds better than city, open field better than amongst trees. Need power for screen, projector, computer.

Next to a house would limit the wind effect. in a field is fine as long as it's not too windy

I use it in a field, because I didn't want to use my 1400.00 screen and damage the screen with all the dust, this one did fine and I hit it with a waterhose to wash off the dust and just left it blown up for a couple of hours to dry off.

It would work well in either location. Keep in mind that winds above 15 mph can be problematic.

We have 10 acres and loved viewing it in the field, but was also great by the pool.

there is a bag that is comes with, though over time I can see that this thing wotn be able to fold in here just like anything is packed so perfectly that once its unwrapped its pretty much impossible. I would invest in a nice 36" rolling duffle bag with plenty of room for the screen in rest in. I think Walmarts sell them for like $30.

Ordered this for my parents back yard movie night with the grandkids. Took a little bit to get it set up and work out some of the kinks: We had trouble inflating it but after we called Grandpa out there he discovered that one of the zippers around the one fan was not zipped all the way shut. Once it was closed completely it inflated as it was supposed to. Then we started losing air on the other side and realized the fan had quit working. We discovered that the fans are connected together inside the screen and had become unplugged. Once they were connected again, it inflated properly and that was the end to our troubles.

We left it inflated all night long (you must keep it plugged in) and it was still standing tall by the next morning. We just didn't feel like taking it apart in the middle of the night.

The grandkids were in awe of our 'big screen' and it's big!! Came just below the second story windows of my parents home! Now that we have the 'kinks' worked out, the next time we set it up should go rather quickly.

It has been the talk amongst my friends and they all want to know where we got this big screen! Overall it was worth the money we paid and I think we'll enjoy it for many years to come.

What a blast!!

I was very impressed with this screen. When I got it I was worried about the wrinkles on the screen, however after setting it up and letting it run most of the wrinkles came out, and the ones that remained were not scene when playing back the movie.

I am very impressed this was a great price for a great product.

Biggest complaint about the unit is I can't fold it back into the bag., they should give you a bigger bag. :)

Great Screen

The Deluxe Outdoor Inflatable Movie Screen is easy to setup, inflates and deflates very quickly and comes with a very nice nylon storage duffle bag. Although it as not as nice of a screen as a professional quality 12' movie screen, it is far more portable and a fraction of the cost of any traditional 12' movie screen. Having to anchor it with the included stakes and tent ropes is kind of a hassle, but once it is secured it is pretty sturdy. The only problem is that you can not drive tent stakes into a gym floor, concrete or asphalt. This unfortunately makes it very difficult to use the screen in a location such as a parking lot, driveway, gymnasium, ballroom, banquet hall, etc. unless you want to carry a bunch of cement blocks with you to anchor the ropes. Unfortunately the structure can not stand on its own without drooping forward due to the weight of the screen, so even indoors you would need some ropes to keep the structure upright. That is the only downside to this item. If you plan on using this on grass and have a lot of room to set it up, it works pretty well.
