I bought these boots for an old dog, whose feet froze when going for walks and going outside to potty in the snow and ice. They are great for that, they are easy to put on, they stay on and best of all, my dog goes outside with no problems in below zero weather. I bought the 'small' for a 30lb dog, they are a little big, but he isn't very active, so they stay on well. I am very happy with them and work VERY well for what I bought them for.

Great for the cold

i bought these for my 5lb 1yr old yorkie, and if nothing else the laighs that we got from watching him walk in them was so funny, he would pick up one foot at a time and shake it , but now that he has gottne use to them, i think that he really likes them because his little paws were so cold when he would come in from being out with the big dogs which he loves to run in our acre and half backyard that is fenced watching him at first though was worth it...........now i put them on and he just lets me put them on.......now putting them on the bigger dogs would be another story they would just rip them off and probably chew up..........but for lil bull he likes them............

Pugs are known to despise anything touching their feet -- these boots are no exception. The boots are easy to get on and off with the Velcro enclosures. Despite the dog's attempts, she couldn't shake them off by herself. After the dog walked a few steps, we noticed that the boots tended to flip upside down (soles up). It's not a big deal if all you are looking for is to keep paws dry, but if you expect some additional traction, you might be disappointed.

Our pug hates these

I had read the reviews and decided to buy these booties anyways. They are NOT good for anything but warmth inside the home, outside if it's dry. My 1yr old rat terrier gets cold really easily and shakes like a chihuahua at the first sign of a breeze. I bought these to keep him feet warm when its raining and he needs to go out. Since they are made up of mainly fleece, they get kinda wet. I still use them since they sort of do the job and besides, they were only $4 and change. Oh and for the sizing.... I bought a small, but probably need an x-small.

Good for warmth

The xs size was not the right size for my toy yorkie of 3lbs, they were way too big for him. Had to return. It would help to have a chart of the sizes that recommend for each dog size.

Arctic Boots with PVC Soles
Common sense should tell everyone "felt" is not and never will be "ARTIC" material. My little 5# maltese had the material worn thru in five minutes, and that was inside the house. A little sock with velcro strap (and the velcro strap has to be too tight on the Dogs leg to keep the sock on) is all there is. Great thought but made from the Wrong material.

What was I thinking?

I bought this product for my dog for the cold weather and so he would not slip and slide when it is icy out. There is no support to stop my dog from sliding. If you want this product just to keep your dog's paw warm then give it a try but i am returning mine tomorrow. Very unsatisfied

Not Worth Your Time

These are very poorly made, please do not waste your money. I pulled the velcro apart to put them on my dog and the velcro pulled competely off the boot as it wasn't sewn well. The other boot ripped as I was putting it on my dog. These are very cheap, I was disappointed in the quality of the item.

Don't waste your money.

I have never purchased such a worthless item in my life. I got the x-small for my min pin and they won't stay on his feet, they are slick and he slid all over the place. Plus, they are made of very cheap felt which got very wet so his feet didn't even stay very dry. The PVC is a really cheap piece of leather or something along those lines so there is NO TRACTION. If I hadn't paid over 15.00 for the item and shipping I'd get rid of them or return them, but since I can't get the shipping back, it's not worth the time or effort. DON'T BUY THEM.

What a major mistake

I have a small dog that gets cold when he has to go outside. I've never believed in clothing for an animals, but I thought he might need these. I received what appeared to be a felt bag with velcro glued on as a strap. These came off easily. The pvc pads didn't even match where the bottom of his foot was. these were completely useless and a waste of my time buying them. he's better off with a sandwich bag and a twist tie. i returned them immediately.
