The original knob on the lid was black plastic ~ the factory has since switched to the new oven-proof stainless knobs which are pictured on the Burgundy and Purple options.

The knob of the one I received was definitely upgraded to stainless steel. Sold by other vendors in plastic, with a stainless replacement knob available for $7 - $15.

Yes, the color is uniform and it's very pretty.

The quality of the finish is the same, top, bottom, inside and out. The COLOR is slightly varied; two colors feathered together. Inside is white.

If you look at the lid, you notice that there is a gradation of red in the center to brown toward the edge. The bottom is that brown color.

same finish, but fades to a darker color toward the bottom. Similar to the fade it does in the lid. So, yes, they match.

Yes. The outside of the pot and the cover is the same and the inside of both the pot and cover is white enamel.

They seem to match perfectly in my opinion. The lid and oven are both shiny.

Does the finish of the bottom match the top?

absolutely. I use it on mine all the time. Just beware that this pot retains heat longer than the stovetop does (which can be a long time) so be careful not to burn things inadvertently.

Yes that's what I use it on. Don't slide it around and it won't scratch.

Yes, I have a glass top electric stove and I've used it several times very successfully.

It work fine on mine. Just don't drop it on the glass top and you'll be fine.

Was a gift for mt Mom for Christmas which I gave to her early. She love, love, loves it. I wanted to let her use it foe her pre Christmas cooking. I love it too, and think I may have to break down and get me one as I only have cast iron dutch, and my daughter one. They are beautiful, easy clean, cook as well as regular cast iron. Lovely 😍
