I really like the appearance of the lamp. and the color matches perfect our bedroom. kind of retro, love it! the bad thing is that there is no hardware and I have to make a trip to the store and find something to attach the lampshade. for the price it should come with it. but overall it's a wonderful lamp.

Brown Dot Lamp

this is a very nice lamp for the price. the base and shade are both a very nice quality and it looks great in my baby's nursery.

Didn't have the fitting issue that others have posted about. The color is dark brown not black like it looks in the picture. Came with a bulb too.

This lamp is lovely! The lamp shade has a fake suede texture with the circles over it. It looks awesome. My only problem is that the lamp did not come with a harp that fit it. I had to wire it to a harp I tore out of an old lamp I was no longer using but once I did it was all perfect. I am thinking of purchasing another despite the harp problem.

Needed some adjusting

I bought these lamps about 2 weeks ago, and they meet all my expectations. As others have said, the dark brown dots are not that dark, they are more a medium and light brown. There are no black dots. The lamp shade sits rather low on the lamp, and makes turning the lamp on and off a bit odd. Otherwise they are the exact height for a bedroom, and very stylish. I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just Beautiful

A very nice lamp. I really love it. A must if it fits into your decor, and being able to pick it up at the store is a great advantage.

My daughter and I LOVE this little lamp. It was the perfect compliment for her comforterset for her dorm room. The only negative side to it is that there are NO directions re: keeping the lamp shade attached to the base. One of the reviews I read tho told us how. The shade goes on first, then screw the bulb in and it holds the shade in place.

Looks great, but it doesn't come with the lamp harp or finial. You have to go to the hardware store for that. Other than that, it looks wonderful.

Looks Great...But...

Great lamp. Lots of people are going to the hardware store for nothing. You do not need to buy extra parts for the lamp shade. Just read the directions and you will see how to place the shade to the lamp base. I Love the lamp and as one person already said, the base is NOT white. It is a bisque or a very pale beige. The shade is not white either. I am glad I read the reviews because I was looking for this color rather than white. If you want white YOU WILL BE disappointed. I received mine in about 7 days home delivery. It was not damaged and is of good quality.

Doesn't bother me, but good to know: the shade is oval instead of round. Also, the base is matte cream not shiny. It's still cute and worth the money, just not accurately described. My only real complaint is that you have to purchase a separate harp if you don't want the bulb to show out the top. Weird design.
