Water won't hurt the backpack but it's mesh so it lets water through to anything inside

That has got to be the dimensions for shipping.

I ordered this backpack for my 8th grade son. All of his books, folders, and binders will fit! This is the 2nd backpack like this that he has had, and I was VERY pleased with the durability of the first one. It was still hanging on after being dragged across concrete. In a nutshell, this is a great backpack for the price!

Great backpack, great price

Overall I'm please with the backpack. My son's school has a new rule about backpacks they either need to be Mesh or Clear (due to bomb threats)
Was pleased when I found this one at the price it was...great value! But just wish it was a bit more sturdy, structured.
The measurements given on the web site said 10 x 10 which I was worried it wasnt big enough, I was wrong, there is plenty of room for books, etc. (shipping size wasnt even the 10 x 10, dont know who measured it)
Overall, If I had to buy another mesh backpack, I would buy this one again. Great Price, Large Size.

Mesh Backpack

I purchase the backback (mess black) for school next year. My grandson wanted one this year and I couldn't find one. It will hold everything he needs for third grade and he will be able to organize it well. He loves his back pack and is looking froward to using it. Just not right now! Good Job Walmart!!

A Wonderful Product

I bought this backpack for my teenage son--- he loves it! It's very sturdy, and the mesh material is great for keeping it clean. It's very lightweight too. Really nice for schools who require see-through packs for security reasons, and the price can't be beat! Highly recommended.

the best school backpack!

I searched all over the internet/online for a mesh backpack for my son for school. I found about four, and they were 20.00 or above, not including shipping. They also seemed to big, or not big enough, or they were the wrong color. This one is perfect and my Son is happy. Which makes me Happy. I ordered online it arrived at my local store 4 days later. Thanks Walmart.

With the threats today, most schools are requiring see through backpacks.
I had tried another brand and it lasted with my teenage son about 3 weeks before it started ripping.
This particular backpack lasted a year and a half before it started ripping on the edge.
I recently ordered him another one.
This comes from being worn by a teenage boy with about 35 lbs of books on his back.
I recommend this product as being stylish and very durable.

Great Product

This is a great school backpack for a junior high student. It is sturdy and roomy. This is already the third backpack this school year and the least expensive. He loves it!

Don't let the price fool you...

I live about a half-mile from the beach, so I needed a pack to carry my towels, and beach gear, but didn't want to bring the sand back home. This back-pack is perfect. I also like the side pockets for carrying beverages that you want to be able to reach while you are walking.

Perfect beach bag

Eastsport Mesh Backpack is an excellant buy for the dollar. This back pack is suited for second graders to adults due to size, but it is a great value with all the additional storage it provides with 3 external deep pockets and also straps on outside to attach things like water bottles, small boxes, etc.

Eastsport Mesh Backpack review

A very nice bag, lots of space - fit it all. The only problem for me is that I use it to put all paperwork and my lunch in, and it doesn't have "sturdy" sides and bottom as far as holding liquid items in place that sometimes have leaky lids. Everything sort of flops together. Great vlue for the $ in general, though.

i used this for my job working in the department of corrections cause we can only bring in stuff thats see through and the second day the stitching started coming undone and my stuff started falling out i fixed the problem with a shoe string by lacing it through the holes I would not recomend this product .
