I have this tv. It is full screen only if you subscribe to an HDTV provider. Non HDTV channels ARE NOT full screen but you have the option of making it widescreen which makes everything look wide and makes people look fat.

Widescreen, it has video options if you want to zoom the picture or just fill the screen

I wanted to upgrade from my monster sized Mitsubishi 46" projection HD TV to a thin panel 46" screen and this RCA is absolutely amazing. The picture quality watching HD channels from DirecTv is incredible. I'm loving the fact that I can see so many more details now and the image is so crisp! Then I hooked my PS3 up to it with an HDMI cable and the graphics are breathtaking! As far as the picture goes, I'd give this TV a 10 out of 10. The sound quality is a bit disappointing so I purchased one of those 2.1 computer speaker systems and I run an audio cable out of the TV into the subwoofer directly and now it sounds great. The two speakers will go to my laptop and the subwoofer makes the TV perfect. The TV was easy to assemble and the remote control is easy to use. I would recommend this TV to anyone!

I love it my new RCA LED-LCD. The picture are excellent and its so thin and lightweight. The only thing that not really satisfied me is the sounds quality. I rate it average only the sound but other than that I rate this LED tv excellent esp the price.

After months of looking at this tv and others online, I finally purchased it hoping that the sound and picture quality would be good. There seemed to be so many issues for others who purchased this with the delivery and quality. The tv is GREAT! Especially because it is LED and so affordable. It was delivered within a week from when I ordered it, which is amazing as it had to be shipped to an island. And shipping was free! It was easy to set up and easy to coordinate with my Dish TV hopper. I do not think there are any issues with the sound at all. The picture quality was not the greatest at first, but then I hooked it up with an HDMI cable (not included) and the picture quality is now breathtaking. I wish I hadn't waited so long!
