Would this fit the 20" Kent Ambush Boys' BMX Bike

where does this kick stand mount on the bicycle

can this be mounted on the next 24 inch power climber bike, or on the girls 24 inch roadmaster mountain bike?

Liked the easy installation and functionality of the bike kickstand.  Should work for most bicycles.

No matter how hard I cranked down the screws I couldn't get it to stay in place once there was much of a load on the kickstand. If the bike is rested on the kickstand very gently it will stay up.

Decent kickstand

Product works well for me, but I had to modified it a bit.

First off, with the weight of the bike resting on the kickstand, it will rotate, no matter how much you tighten the clamps. I had to wrap a piece of rubber inner tube on the frame then installed the clamp mechanism around that to eliminate the rotationing (or at least greatly reduced it).

Second problem: the height of the kickstand is adjustable, but the screw can't bite enough into the metal to get prevent it from eventually telescoping shorter and shorter. I had a piece of thick metal tubing, which happens to fit perfectly over the smaller upper part of the kickstand shaft, and about the same diameter as the wider lower kickstand shaft. So, I cut this tubing to the lenght I needed and inserted onto the narrow kickstand shaft , then restalled the wider kickstand shaft. Finally, the kickstand is pretty solid.

This is the only kickstand that would work on my bike, so I went through a little hassle to get to work for me. So, would I recommend this product? Yes...........and no.

Works with a little modification(s)

I got it for my son and its just too long, I thought if its adjustable I could put it on his bike, but no I cant....well it was very easy to install but no use for it....
