No. This set does not have any drawers. There is an open compartment on the right under the oven, which actually opens like a cupboard door and not like an oven door. And the "dishwasher" is on the left. This too opens like a cupboard door and not like a dishwasher would. No shelves in this side either.

Your 8-year old will definately be too big. It is the perfect size for my 18-month old. I would imagine your 4-year old would love it, but maybe not the older two...

We have this kitchen. My folks got it for my first daughter when she was 2 (even though the box says 3+yrs). She is now over 5 and my little one is 2 1/2. They both play with it all the time & it is fine for the 5 yr old & all of her 4 to 6 yr old friends. When the neighbors & my nephews (8 & 12, and 8 & 11) come over to play, they still play with it, but it is a bit small for the 8 yr olds & very small for the 11 & 12 yr olds. Hope that helps.

It is not a very tall item so I think that sadly yes your kids are too old. The 4 year old probably not but I do feel the 8 year old will feel she has to bend down too much.

I have it for twin 2 year olds, and they are the right height for it. 4year old might be fine, but any older and I think they would be too tall.

the set (sink/stove and fridge)comes in one box. I don't have the exact dimensions of the box, but its not very big. It should easily fit in the trunk or backseat of your car. Its not assembled so all the pieces are in one box.

The kitchen and stove are in the same box. I can't recall the dimensions. But I did take a picture of the box as my "before" image to post on facebook.

If I had to guess, I would say about 2.5' long and 1.5' tall.
