Can you add music to go along with the pictures?

Probably the easiet thing to do is to buy a USB flash drive. I would suggest at least 4GB to allow for a lot of pictues to be loaded. Load the software that comes with the picture frame and simply pick the photos you want and save them down to the flash drive. The drive plugs directly into the frame. Surprisingly easy.

once you install the disc that comes with the frame you should be able to figure it right out. I just put a few on it the first time and then checked it out to make sure I was doing it right before I spent to much time on it and everything was there. Just check out all of your options on your disc. Just put your SD card in your computer and download your pics onto the card with the Kodak softwear that comes with the frame.

purchased this as a gift for my parents who are not computer literate and they love it. it is easy to use and we can just put our camera card into the slot and offload the pics they choose. u do hafta purhase a separate card to store pics but it was only $8.

great purchase

I would first like to say that the shipping on this item was VERY fast. I ordered it on Thursday evening before Mother's Day and received it Saturday! The digital frame was a gift for my Mom, but I went ahead and purchased a flash drive and loaded it with pictures before giving it to her. This was very easy to use!

Very Easy!

I ordered this for my mom for Mother's Day, but it would not arrive in time, so I picked up another more expensive one made by Smart Parts. I ended up having to return the Smart Parts one, because It was having trouble connecting to my computer, and would only play 3 pictures and go black. The Kodak one is super simple, no special software to load, no USB issues. I just bought a 2 GB SD card for $11.88, loaded a bunch of pictures on it, inserted it into the frame, plugged it in and it worked. You have to setup a few things the first time, but you are guided through the process, by using touch screen buttons on the border of the frame. You don't actually touch the photo area, so it stays clean. My only argument is they measure these like TVs, diagonally, so you are only getting a 6" wide image, even though it says 7". On top of that, the height is only 3 1/2 inches, so if your pictures are sized 5x7, it will cut off part of the top and bottom to make it fit. You need to size your images on your computer to 3.5x6" or the frame will just crop to fit. I have included an example of a picture sized for the frame.

Great product, easy to use.

Nice frame for this price. Very user friendly, intuitive menus. Even those not computer literate could operate this. No internal memory, so you must use a memory card (any kind - it has all of the slots available).

When I purchased this frame, I had been looking at the 8" and 10" frames in the stores, and was highly impressed. The 8 & 10 had very good resolution (sharp images). I ordered the 7" due to the large drop in price compared to the 8" & 10" frames. Once I received the product, I found out why the difference existed. The resolution is pretty low by comparison. If you are 12 inches from the frame, you will be dissapointed. However, if you stand 3' away and are looking at it like a normal picture (not inspecting the details), you can't even tell that it is a digital. It has been in my office for a week now, and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend it to others. The touch frame feature is awesome!

Good Value

We received our product timely. I currently already own one of these and this one was purchased as a gift. Overall, the frame is very easy to use and starts right up without any confusing instructions. However, the one we ordered for a Christmas gift came and did not work. It seems the adapter is bad. Now, we have to stand in lines at Walmart to exchange it for another - Yuck!

Could've Been Excellent

The set up is easy enough once you figured it out. There is no memory so you do have to leave in your memory card or USB flash drive. The picture quality is pretty good and the frame is descent. It's a keeper.

My mother thought I couldn't of came up with a better gift. She is very ill and now she can look back at all the pic's that use to be brought out just once every couple of years if that and enjoy them everyday. I thought that when she ends up in the hospital that she will have something to enjoy and maybe not feel so alone at times. I wrote all over it with permanent marker for it would stop anyone from stealing it but then I was worryed about it breaking and not being able to send it back because of the marker but so far so good and she has had it for over a year. I would recommend that you buy at least a 4GB SD card though. Well I had a ton of pic's but maybe you wont but that will give you room to grow.
