Amazing first bike, can't fault it! It's lightweight and easy for kids to go, I looked at several other frames and I felt most were far too heavy for my daughter to be able to keep upright. On her 4rd birthday she was off on this without stabilisers! Really don't think that would have been the case on a lot of the other bikes.
Good bike for kid to start
My son has been riding tricycle and I wanted him to transition to riding bicycle since he is turning 4 soon. Now that he is almost 4, this bicycle has training wheels and the adjustable height for seat and handle bar, which is good for him to use as he grows quite quickly. I like the built quality of this bike, the disc break for example. Looks like a pro bike rather than a kid bike. He enjoys riding it with training wheels so far. As he gains control on stabilizing while riding, we can take the training wheels off. And as he grow out of it, we can hand it down to his younger sister. Bottom line is that this is a good bike for kid to start riding.
My daughter likes her new bike!
This is a very pretty bike, alloy frame made, looks fantastic and sturdy, my daughter likes it so much, riding it outside everyday. Assembly is OK with common tools, it takes me 10 mins to have everything assembled ready. The height of seat and handlebar is adjustable, my daughter is 6 years old, the 16 bike is a slight bigger for her, need to lower the height. It is safe and stable running with the training wheel for the beginner, in addition the disk brake systems works great to fully stop the bike in a short distance, but it also shows some difficulty for my daughter to squeeze the hand brake all by herself, that may need bigger hands with more strength to hold it when she grow up a bit. Overall, I am very satisfied on its quality design, a nice bike for a young kid.
Great value - Good First Bike - Good quality
Spent a lot of time reading online about sizing bikes for a child who is learning to ride. I am no expert by any means but found lots of great sites explaining the key designs to the best beginner bikes. Brands such as Woom, Islabike, Guardian, Pello etc. have perfected low weight, long wheel base/top bar, narrow q factor bikes to make learning to ride easier for little ones. Unfortunately they also cost 3x the price of this bike. Again, I am not an expert cyclist nor do I have personal experience with those nicer and pricey brands to give first hand comparisons. Thus the following comparisons are based on published specs and components. While this NiceC bike isn't on the level of those top brands in quality and build it does appear the NiceC offers quite a bit for what it costs. In fact I was not able to find any other new 16" bike in the price range that even came with handbrakes or was under 20 lbs, much less both (although lack of the coaster brake likely is a large part of lower weight). I purchased 2 of these 16" bikes for twins that will be turning 6 in another month. My son is 46 lbs and 46.5 inches tall. He has an inseam of ~19 inches. His sister is 47 lbs and 47.5 inches tall with an inseam of 20". Neither is able to ride without training wheels, my son has lots of balance bike practice while my daughter has mostly practiced on training wheels. After learning more about sizing, I was very tempted to return at least my daughters NiceC to purchase a larger bike. They really both are on the large size for these 16" bikes however since they still don't ride without training wheels I have decided to keep them for this season (will explain rationale in greater detail below). Doing this knowing next season they will be ready for 20" bikes if pedaling without training wheels this year. I figure I can recoup some of the cost in selling the NiceC next year and will keep the boys bike for our current 15 month old for when he is big enough.
Great as starter bike for kids
It is great starter bike for kids who is starting to learn cycling. The Champagne color bike looks cools and my daughter loved it. I bought this for my daughter on her 4th birthday and see loves it and even ride it around in the house.
I have bought this bike for my sons birthday. He was really impressed with the gift. The style of this bike is unique. Only thing is that I need to adjust the bike's breaks since it came dismantle. Overall it's a nice bike for the price
Good bike for starter.
Bike is Easy to install, light in weight, and steady. In addition to i love the break system it works so good. It's a great bike for starter to learn.
It is very durable and worth the amount paid.
This is the second bike I have bought from Walmart, and this one is even better than the last one. 16 inch bike arrives 3 day before promised. This bike totally made my son's day on his birthday. The champagne is very sharp. It feels very solid and sturdy. Love the wide wheels for better stability. It looks great and feels like great quality. I got the smallest height and it's perfectly fine for him with plenty of growing room. I can easily adjust the handle bars and seat. The seat is very comfortable, the brakes work great, and it comes with a bell. It is very durable and worth the amount paid. My son had trouble riding it the first day but easily caught on and he's doing great. We are very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.
kid love it
l placed order of BMX kid bike for my daughter as her 4 years old birthday present，unboxing when receiving it，not complicated to install every parts together，my daughter she has to depend on training wheels as a beginner，perfect design and good quality，yellow color is her favorite and she is very very happy with this bike，good attitude and great service from seller，leave 5 star rating and satisfy with this kid bike.
Very poorly made, especially for the price. I was extremely disappointed. The pedals kept coming off and we had to use thread tape to fix. Not worth the cost, especially since its 2x a typical bike.
A good looking, metal frame 16 inch bike for the little one. The assembly was straight forward and the packages comes with the tools you need, but the only word of caution is, the pedals arent marked but are specific. If the pedals arent going easily, try switching from left to right. Once the assembly is done, the bike looks great and the little one is got on the second it was done! He wanted to try pedaling right away and take it out to the garage.
Very cool bike just as described
I order it to be my boy 6 years old birthday gift. Very easy to assemble !! my girl and I made it.Smoother ride than old one. My boy loves it! He races around on it .The bike just as described. Happy child !Happy mommy ! Pic1. when the bike delivered Pic2. my girl tried on and going to be surprise to little brother.
A pretty bike for kid
My kid is very excited to see this bike, very pretty bike, alloy frame made, looks fantastic and sturdy, my daughter likes it so much, riding it outside almost everyday. Assembly is easy with common tools, only takes me 10 mins to have everything assembled ready. The height of seat and handlebar is adjustable, my daughter is 4 years old, the 14” bike is a slight bigger for her, need to lower the height. It is safe and stable running with the training wheel for the beginner, in addition the disk brake systems works great to fully stop the bike in a short distance, safe is the most important, but it also shows some difficulty for my daughter to squeeze the hand brake all by herself, that may need bigger hands with more strength to hold it when she grow up a bit.
Item arrived late which was my daughters birthday gift. The box was torn and damaged upon arrival and the bike had bounced around during transit resulting in two paint chips on the main frame. Assembly instructions are horrible, so I resorted to YouTube for help. All and all a huge disappointment.
- As a gift
- Value for money
great toddler bike
perfect toddler bike , easy to assemble and good quality frame and party . the champagne color is unique . this quickly became our toddler favorite bike that helped them transition from balance bike to this .
Good design, can improve quality
Overall it is a great beginner cycles, pretty lightweight and smooth to ride. My 2 key complaints are: 1. Seat keeps slipping down, this is despite trying to tighten it repeatedly. 2. The handlebar also tends to get out of alignment easily. I have tried to tighten it as much as I can.
- Value for money
Break system is not designed well.
I got two of these for my twin boys. The front break system don't work very well. It gets stuck pretty often and you have to manually pry it open to unlock it. I'm debating to just remove it completely as it already hard enough to teach my 5yos how to use hand breaks. It doesn't help when the breaks don't work well, they tend to want to give up on bike riding all together. However, I specifically choose this bike for it's dual hand braking in hope of teaching them to use it, so it's pretty disappointing.
quality is good
easy assembling, quality is good. I am 140lb and tried to ride it myself with no problem. my kid love the bike as well.
Really good with high quality.
This is really good with high quality. My daughter like it.
Poor quality, not worth the money
This bike design has potential, but the execution and quality are terrible. For the money, I expect so much more. We were going to keep it, but the last straw was that the seat adjuster was defective and the threads broke the first time we tried to adjust it. Will be returning
