Great product

This inversion table was super easy to assemble. It took me (a woman) and a 10 year old girl, less than 30 minutes from start to finish. The large parts, that are important to the overall safety, are already assembled. There is only about 16 bolts you have to add. It is very sturdy. My husband and I are both over weight. I chose this table because the limit is 350 lbs. While we don't come close to that, I wanted a sturdy table. It fully inverts to 180 degrees. The part that locks your ankles in, has a thick padding. It does hurt my feet a bit when fully inverted, but that is probably because of my being overweight. Great table, very sturdy, very easy to get back up-right from a full inversion using the handles, easy assembly, and well worth...

Release latch does not work. Will return item.

Relatively easy to assemble. Seems to be good quality materials. Very heavy object. The unlocking mechanism does not work easily. Even my wife can not get it to open, while I am strapped on the table, trying to get out. Most of the time, none of us can get the latch to open. I have to slide my legs out of the leg straps, after I am done using the table. The struggle to unlock the latch ENDS UP HURTING MY BACK, every time I use the table! They need to re-design the release mechanism. Unfortunately, I have to return the product.

    Wonderful Inversion Table!!!!

Before I purchased this Inversion Table, I did close to 5 days of investigating all the different brands on the Market. I read reviews, watched videos, infomercials, etc... The reason I went for the Ironman 4000, was it consistently ranked in the top 5 of all the other brands of Inversion Tables, it's construction was the best out of all the other tables that I compared it to! An added bonus was the price, which insadentaly was not a deciding factor, I was willing to pay $500.00 for a competitors table. Which I am so glad I did NOT. My main deciding factor was the safety of the construction. It was so easy to assemble, it only took me and my daughter <1 hour to fully assemble!! I absolutely LOVE THIS INVERSION TABLE!!! I have a very bad bac...

    Great Product

I was a bit put off by some of the other reviews about how "hard" this was supposed to be to assemble but I found that to be absolutely UNTRUE. It was simple and easy and quickly done. I did take the advice to hand tighten everything rather than use any type of electric screwdriver to keep from stripping screws. I am very happy with it and look forward to many years of service from this unit provided the memory foam backing hold up. I am a bit disappointed with the manufacturers support because I did call while I was assembling but never got a call back. Fortunately I was able to see where my mistake was and rectify the small problem I was having. However, it would have been nice to at least receive a call back. This is certainly NOT Walmar...

    Why did I wait?

Only had inversion table for a couple of weeks and so far it appears to be winner for my bulging discs. You don't have to invert all the back for the benefit. Very sturdy and something I should have purchased years ago. The IronMan 4000 should be part of every ones fitness arsenal. My only complaint is with IronMan- Paradigm Health and Wellness Inc. Tried to reach customer service with an assembly question. Called several times and left message each time. So far NO call back. Very unprofessional in my book. Fortunately, the Inversion Table makes up for the unprofessional behavior of Paradigm Health and Wellness Inc. If I had to rate Paradigm Health and Wellness Inc. they get ZERO stars. The inversion table gets FIVE stars. If any issues s...

Does wonders in relieving my back pain!

At first I was a little afraid to turn upside down, but after I did, my back felt so good. It relieved the pressure in my lower back. I use it twice a week and so far it is doing me a world of good. I would recommend the IronMan Gravity 4000 Inversion Table to anyone that is suffering from lower back pain.

    Super Hero of Inversion Tables

Assembly was a snap! Only took about 30 minutes! The back padding and lumbar support make the transition gentle, smooth, and supportive. The rubber ankle support is superior compared to foam because it locks the ankle safely in place without excessive pressure on the ankles. The adjustable strap underneath provides total freedom in controlling how far the inversion goes down and feels completely sturdy so as to prevent sliding. The locking bar for the ankle support has to be pushed backward in order to get it to release forward; but, that is the only tricky thing about this product. I started inverting the first day I got it home. After only one week of using this table, I saw a total transformation in my ability to walk pain free and relea...

    Great table for the price!

I myself did alot of research before purchasing this inversion table. It is built really well and is very sturdy. I tried the table right off the bat with having it go all the way down so I was completely upside down. It was too much for me and my wife since it was kind of painful in the lower back. I adjusted the safety strap so it was about 3/4 the way down and was much better. I still got a very good stretch, but did not feel that I was in a torture machine. I have been using it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening for about 5 to 10 minutes each time for about 4 days now and I can already feel a difference. I seem to be a sore in my lower back each time I am done so I just stay in the unit upright for a few minutes ti...

Outstanding Buy For Outstanding Piece Of Equipment

I ordered the IronMan 4000 Inversion Table to help me with a few back issues. The equipment came through with flying colors for me. Be sure to read the manual completely thru not only for use instructions but also for safety issues for you and your Inversion Table. When I ordered the IronMan 4000, it was not due to arrive until December 27. Much to my surprise it arrived two weeks earlier on December 13. It took two of us to put it together due to our extreme caution to see it was done properly. The actual installation was very simple and took two of us about 1 hour and 10 minutes. I know that the time it took two of us to put this equipment together was much longer than is usual, but it was out of an abundance of caution on our part. Worke...

Perfect for people with lower back issues.

I read all the reviews and was a bit worry. Some people said that the table came without a pillow or it didn't work ect. My husband is on it right now and loves it. No problems what so ever. The pillow for the lower back did come with the inversion table. I have neck issues would not recommend for neck problems. It doesn't do anything for the neck. One more thing if you do order the inversion table from Wal-Mart check after an hour or so to see if the order wasn't an error. Meaning that a email was sent back to your email address stating it was an error. Which means no table was order. I am 5'3 128 pounds my setting for my weight is 5'5. Remember that your weight is what moves you. Just moving your arms should move you. If you're moving you...

    Great for lower back pain.

Easy to put together, they give the exact number of nuts and bolts needed so if you cross thread one you will have to make a trip to the hardware store and replace it. It says for up to 350 lbs on the web site but the booklet says 300. It holds me at 320. It says not for obese. How many people over 300 lbs aren't obese. If you are "normal" weight and you set it for your height, it is very easy to tilt and straighten up. Those of us who are not normal set it for your height step in, lock up, raise your hand and flip like a pancake. Great for making the kids laugh. Then straining and struggling to straighten up makes the wife laugh. But it really helped my back pain and I would recommend this. Just not in front of the living room window, unle...

    Chose Over the Teeter Hang-Ups

I was debating between this one and the Teeter-Hang ups and the difference was a little over a hundred dollars, and I went with this one and Im so happy. Both my husband and I hand compressed lower backs and pelvic bone issues. This is wonderful, we were spending $45 per Chiro appointments every week and this is like having a live in chiropractor. This paid itself off after the 4th time we used it which is crazy because we have spent thousands now on chiropractic work. Took us an hour to set up, you need two people. Very user friendly and effective. So happy I didn't spent an extra $100 for the Teeter which just looks a little prettier. Great Value.

    Excellent, except...

This table is very stable and well built. One of the main things I looked for in deciding which table to buy was the design of the ankle cuffs. This one has a great design, with cups on the front and back of the leg, and a unique open and close mechanism on a gear ( which I love). Unfortunately, the foot rest seems to be too far from the ankle cuffs, so I slip 2-3 inches when I invert, changing the center of gravity, and making it impessible to rotate without pulling myself up using the handle bars. I tried several different shoes, and many different settings, and could not make it work. I will have to return it.

    Believe the hype

A co-worker recently purchased one of these and after hearing his glowing recommendation as well as the OVERWHELMINGLY positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I use daily for about 5 minutes and no longer wake up with back pain; I am very satisfied.

    Awesome and effective

Bottom line, it does the job. It only requires a few minutes, (3-5) and it is effective at removing the kinks from my entire body. Prior to purchase, I would roll out of the bed and spend 20-25 minutes stretching and then repeat after my workout. Now, I can just hop on the table. It doesn't make you dizzy and blood does not rush to my head, but I make careful incremental movements to find my "sweet spot". I will say that the adjustment is based on your "ideal" weight rather than height. I am 5''5 but have the best control when the table is set at 5"11. I am about 40 pounds overweight and top heavy so I attribute the balance issues to this fact. My husband and I both use the table and it works wonders for him as well. He has a very sedentary...

Helped tremendously with sciatica - Be aware that the problem seemed worse at the first few uses - but after using 2-3 times a day for 5 minutes each - I am finally able to sleep at night and have considerably less pain overall. The table is VERY sturdy & comfortable. Fantastic instructions to put it together quickly.

    great value

I researched for quite a while before selecting this one.Tempted to spend more for a Teeter, but I am glad I bought this one instead-much more comfortable and seems more sturdy. It takes a few tries to get used to inversion(makes you a little light-headed at first),but WOW--worth every penny .Really stretches your back and works out the kinks.Wife is thinking this will cut down on her chiropractor visits(chiropractor actually has one in her office ,too). I was amazed also by easy, quick assembly-took longer to unwrap parts from box than it did to assemble the table-maybe 15-20 minutes total.

    ironman 4000

Great tool for helping reverse the effects of gravity on a body for over 60 years. The first time I used it my back felt more relaxed and my sciatica after using the ironman 4000 for about a week was improved about 50 percent. I have hopes of more improvement in the future. I could have payed twice as much for a table and would not have purchased a better table. There are two things I would have liked to have been built into the table . A timer for one and a indicater for degree of angle would be very usefull. In closeing I believe for the money you cannot buy a better table.

I like it from the time i got on it ! it is very well constructed and was easy to put together.only thing it is hard for one person to move it around would be nice if it had wheels on it.I think it would be nice if it also had an instruction book to show what type of exercise can be done
