I purchased this cooler for my boat as the fish cooler. The price and site to store shipping was great! But I returned the cooler a day after I received it, without even testing it. My concerns were mainly with the handles; the handles look and feel flimsy. These appear to be the same handles that are on much smaller Coleman coolers. I cant believe these handles are on such a big cooler. I dont see how the handles would hold up to loading (and unloading) and carrying a full 100 qt. cooler on a regular basis. My secondary concerns were about the plastic hinges, plastic lid strap, and quality of the drain plug (WHICH IS NOT THREADED AS ADVERTISED). I did return to walmart without any problems. I think this cooler would kept it's contents cold for days. The cooler body is solid, and looks to be high quality. This cooler would be good if it's going to kept in one place without moving around a whole lot. My concern agian is with the quality of the attachables- the handles, plastic lid strap, plastic hinges, and drian. The cooler body is sturdy and serves as a good seat. Coleman makes two other 100 qt. marine coolers (XP H2O) that have the similar dimensions as this one, but have stainless steel hinges, stainless steel lid strap, bigger, beefer handles (which I believe can take loading and loading a full cooler without failing), a threaded drain plug that looks a lot more durable, and other advantages. Go to Coleman's website to view a side by side comparison chart of their coolers. Ironically, these two other coolers are about the same price as this cooler, and I dont know why Coleman has three different 100 qt. marine coolers that are so closely the same. I did purchase the Coleman XP H2O and believe it will last for a long time. I'm not married to any one brand, but look for quality, as I have both Coleman and Igloo coolers.
