I thought this would be a cinch to put together but the outer ring was extremely hard to line up. The welded sections were not all at the same angle. They were just slightly off but that was enough. You're supposed to bolt one section down at a time before adding the next piece. I ended up having to put the ring together and then trying to line it up to the holes. By some miracle it finally went together. I chose this fire pit because of the stars and moons cutout and the fact that you can also cook on it. The size is impressive, and the color is a dark rust. The powder coating, however, is very thin. One thing not mentioned in the website description is that you need to put 5 lb of sand in the bottom. Overall, I think it looks very nice and is just the right size for my patio. I'm looking forward to entertaining outside by the fire.
