Most expensive and worst Samsung I owned!
this tv is a pain! try playing videos from usb. tv can't play movies in numerical order! i have complained about this which should be an easy fix, yet here i am a year later and still same issue! i have had 4 samsung tv's this one is the most expensive and the only one that has this stupid issue! hey samsung, tell your software guys to address this and update my tv otherwise it will be the last samsung i buy!!

Poor manufacturing quality
The TV was just mounted and while removing the protective film part of the screen came off with it. Samsung support first said the screen was cracked then later called it an installation error and voiding the warranty. Poor quality and even worse customer support experience.

Amazing TV

This Samsung Q70R QLED is absolutely amazing! The picture quality is so life-like that it has a 3D effect. To sit down and watch a show that I have seen before, but for the first time on QLED TV, is mind blowing! The Samsung Q70R enhances everything! The color is so vibrant and crisp that you can see peoples grey hair that I have never seen before or even their wrinkles. And the smart features are top notch! It's like a smart phone, but huge. I can even work the TV from my Samsung fridge, phone, Alexa, and of course the remote. With all the features this TV has, I don't have to hook up some of my other equipment that was cluttering my wall. The only negative thing I can say right now is the sound, but I'm still learning the TV and I have not worked with the sound yet. But overall, I Love This TV!

Audio Video Sync Issue

I could not fix an audio video sync issue and needed to return the TV as a result. Resetting the TV will fix it for an hour or so but the issue always eventually rears its ugly head. The issue happens when watching cable or streaming prime through the built in app. I was connecting a Sony surround sound system to the TV through an optical cable. Perhaps connecting the surround sound to the TV with an HDMI ARC would fix this issue but my surround sound does not have an HDMI ARC input and I don't want to buy a new surround sound just after buying a new TV. I also went through all audio settings on the TV, cable box, and surround sound and could never get dolby digital to sync with the video. I prefer dolby digital to PCM. Perhaps I just received a defective unit because all the other reviews are glowing.

Super clear picture and sleek

After plugging in this gem, WOW!! I am so impressed with the picture quality, it is super clear and crisp and motivates me to turn it on. All the colors just seem to pop! The movie experience is extremely upgraded now and it feels like we are at the theater. The customization for the tv settings is endless and we can connect our devices seamlessly to our WiFi for streaming. You can also create your own custom look with these deep colors settings. We have been watching Avengers (all of them) movies since we got it, cannot get enough of the action on this 4K experience. This TV is super slim and we were able to mount it with barely any footprint. We are so happy with this TV!!!

Broken less than 24hrs from delivery

This is upsetting on a tv less than a day old to stop working.

I was watching vudu and initially it would pause by itself. Then it went dead.

Powered it off, unplugged it and powered it back up and it keeps looping trying to power-on. I kept hearing a clicking sound.

Great Set but missing a key feature

This tv checks all the boxes except of it's lack of Dolby Vision support. I'm aware Samsung is standing by HDR10+ which is a great format and I'm glad that Samsung is backing that format because all companies and services like Amazon Video use HDR10+ for some of it's content. However I run into issues when I play a UHD disc or stream certain content that only allows for HDR10, this keeps the picture dim through the whole film. Yes, I've adjusted settings but who wants to adjust settings each time content is played? If Samsung released an update that can allow both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision to co-exist that would really benefit the customer and put them ahead of the market as far as features go!!! This is not an attack on HDR10+. Please Samsung just add DV firmware, it will be an investment that will pay itself back many times over. Thanks!

Cannot access Dolby Atmos even with soundbar

Decided to set up high end picture and sound with the Q70R QLED Smart 4k UHD TV and splashed out on the 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos Soundbar, both by Samsung. Not sure what the point of this is, if I cannot get Dolby Atmos through the television's AppleTV app (I want to watch Gravity with Dolby Atmos soundtrack, but cannot) or the Amazon Prime app (the Jack Ryan show has a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, but again, cannot get the full experience with my setup). This is extremely concerning. I have pre-paid for 3 years of Disney+ starting November 12, and I have no guarantee that either my high end television will have an app through which I can watch Disney+ or that even if it does, I will be able to experience in Dolby Atmos, which Disney+ supports, and my TV and Soundbar setup obviously should.

amazing gaming tv

I've been looking and researching for a new tv for years but once i read the specs on this new Qled and read that it had free sync I made the leap and I couldn't be happier. The picture and refresh rate are amazing the tv automatically synced up to all my devices and the soundbar. the settings and menus were very user friendly. In all seriousness I feel like I did when I made the leap from standard to 1080 years ago. With the 4K details i can see the smallest details that I never noticed on the same games I've been playing in 1080 for years. The only thing I would change is the remote randomly picking up my voice while I'm talking to someone online during a game and it will screw me up by changing the input or opening Netflix or something else like go to a settings page but since there is no way to turn off the bixby or better only have it listen when i push the mic button I've just duct taped the mic on the remote and that has seemed to fix the issues.

Excellent TV with a few drawback

Haven't been able to find any HDR10+ Content to watch yet but the default HDR10 is so far very beautiful. Speakers are better than average. Only thing I don't like is that the local dimming gets annoying when the brightness of the screen flicker to a different brightness, especially with subtitles. Also, would be awesome if they support Dolby Vision. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Amazing Picture Quality

This TV has amazing contrast and colors. However I found it quite dim after KS8000 and it's not that ideal to be used in a fairly bright room. I love the black levels of this TV but wish to desire more brightness (All Samsung TVs used to be quite bright) to see that popping image effect especially with games. I hope this is something to be fixed by a software update and Samsung does something about it. Cause I noticed except for Q90R all of the 2019 models has worse brightness than older models.

And my 2 other complains:

1. is the build quality. Unfortunately it does not look like a premium TV. At least we could have silver metalic borders.

2. I don't receive DTS sound. Such a shame Samsung does not support it while it's the most common sound codec used in Blurays.

Other than these 3 subjects it's perfect TV for a price, like an OLED TV, perfect blacks and contrast. But as I said the screen brightness is also similar to an OLED TV which I hate about OLED TVs.

Great TV!

Such a great TV. I've had this TV for about 2 weeks and i can say i'm extremely happy with this purchase. I don't have a large room so the sound is great and sounds better with "amplified mode". The smart is a NERD, one remote that controls all my devices (except ps4) but controls my Fios cable to my Fire Stick. Easy apple airplay connection and even the Bixby voice works well for me.

Great TV (with one quirk)

So, we've had this TV for about 6 months now and I feel confident that i can provide an accurate review. The picture on this thing is amazing! We upgraded from a 55" LG LCD that was about 8 years old and this blows the old one away. I also love the built in apps. We have Spectrum cable/internet, so we love that we can use the Spectrum app without the need for a cable box on this TV. Other apps like Disney+, HBO, Amazon, Netflix, and Google Play are also a huge plus.

The only weird thing with the TV occurs when we turn it off. Every now and then, it will miraculously turn back on. I am not sure what is causing this, but so far we are just dealing with it.

Overall, I would highly recommend this (or any other QLED) TV from Samsung.

Overall pretty good

Overall pretty good But I feel the wireless receiver in the TV is pretty slow. We have giga fiber at home and can pull almost 400 MB on A speed test on a cell phone. The best we could get on the TV itself is about 30. This is slower than our old Apple TVAnd I am looking into Hard wiring and ethernet port for it. Great upgrade

Upgraded from an older other brand 50inch LED to the 2019 Q70 65 inch. New Samsung TV gives better picture in the room with large picture windows. No glare on screen at all. Simple and easy to hook up, and the TV detected my cable box and game console easily. The One remote feature makes it easy to operate everything. Happy with this upgrade. Picture quality

awsome tv i have such a beautiful picture and actually this is another computer. so much you can do with this tv. i love this tv accept the fact that i get this ghostly picture sometimes that is unwatchable. iwonder if anyone else has this problem. other than this it is an awsome tv set.

Better then the Q8FN Model

This tv is brighter then my 8FN in the living room. And has way better option for gaming! I find the picture to also be a bit sharper and colours more vibrant. Any gamer will LOVE this beast
