I'm not even half way done with the book, yet I have learned a lot of things I don't know I ever would have learned anywhere else!! This is the basic of basics and I love it!!! I made a homemade cake once, and the texture was 'crummy,' even though I followed the directions to a t. In this book I realized that 'milk' doesn't mean whatever milk you have in your refrigerator. It means whole milk. A lot of things like that!! I had no clue, but when I'm done reading this book, I hope to make a great tasting cake with great texture, using all of the hints that are in this book!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend it for the beginners......and even the beginner of the beginners!!!!!
