Ive had these for 4-5 months now, and am impressed. Well constructed boot, simple and durable. I have problems getting a boot that fits properly sometimes, but these broke in right and keep going. The only problems are they do have a rock hard insole, which is easily fixed. And they are not waterproof, but most moc toe boots arent. Very sastified, and will buy in the future as these get delegated to yard work and home improvement. Wal Mart could do well to start selling more simply constructed basic boots such as these!
Good durable boot. The arch and insole are minimal so a suggested upgrade (sofgell work/sport, also offered by Walmart) makes them a very comfortable, durable boot at less than half the price of equal quality choices.
I noticed these boots at my local Wal-Mart and checked the site for reviews before buying them. I didn't find any reviews but I liked them well enough to buy them after trying them on. I've only had them a few weeks, so I am unable to comment on their long term durability. They fit nicely. The toe-box is roomy and the portion around the ankle and the laces tighten snug according to the laces. They work well with thick socks as well as regular thinner socks. There appears to be no weird foams or plastics. The design seems simple and direct enough that I anticipate that they will hold up well. The leather is nice and the stitching is rugged. Other boots that are styled like these often have a crepe rubber sole, these have a regular work boot type lug sole. They are easy on and off. They also seem to be waterproof, I've been ankle deep in puddles without any water inside. I like the moc-toe, I've never had moc-toe boots before these. I enjoy that they feel as firm and vigilant as other boots I wear, but the moc-toe keeps them from looking like combat boots.
