This is a movie that will leave you with your jaw on the floor for not only the entirety of the film, but for hours after the credits have rolled. Not since Bug have I seen a movie that left me so uncomfortable and yet bewildered at the intensity of the story at the same time. This definitely belongs a list of the greatest films of all time. Ellen Page, whom I had never heard of until this point, gives one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen come out of a child actor. Dakota Fanning has nothing on this girl. Her intense delivery and total commitment to her personality creates one of the most compelling characters the grace the screen in decades. Patrick Wilson plays his role with equal intensity as his character goes through various changes throughout the story. Unfortunately, not much can be said about this film without completely destroying the entire plot, so I'll leave you with this: let this film be a perfect example of evil hidden under a veil of innocence, and how the search for the truth can sometimes lead to nothing but pain and destruction, both physically and emotionally.
