Got this washer when I was in an apartment and had to do laundry every couple of days for kids. This washer is great! It washes better than the laundromat washers and spins till it's almost dry! I have had this washer for 2 years plus. It's still working great.
The lid hinge did break off so that it does not open completely but I have used it that way for over one year.
CON: it squeezes the living daylight out if the clothes and some Texas shirts can get stretched. But ur T shirt dries real quick. LOL
I only paid about 299 for it though. U should be able to find another Haier washer for a decent price.
This worked great for me while I was living in an apartment. Going to the laundromat every week was time consuming, tiring and slowly added up to be expensive. This was definitely a much easier way to wash clothes and eventually i saved enough money from not having to go to the laundromat to break even.
My only warning is to never try to wash a comforter in here... not big enough for that.
I've had mine 3 years now and its still in good shape.
Was working great overall. After first year the lid attachments got crumbled. After 2 years died during spinning cycle - smelled like burned rubber.
The plastic lid and top of the washer has cracked/crumbled. The screws don't hold the top on anymore. This should last more than 2 years. I can't use it or even sell it- piece of junk.
