Ordered this scope for my 22-250 Varmit gun, installed the scope and took it to the range the next day. Out of the box the scope was hitting paper at 50 meters (54 yards), a few adjustments later I was dead on at 100 meters (108 yds). Scope is of good quality and the recticles are clear and concise. Great price as well,
A very good scope for the price. I do a little target and varmint hunting with this scope and has held up. That being said it's not a Nikon or Leupold and I didn't expect it to be for the price. I'm happy with this scope.
I purchased this Barska 6.5-20 x 50 and a Barska 3-9 x 40 today. Both had good magnification, 3" eye relief and clarity. However, one click of the Barska elevation equals 8 clicks of windage. One click of 6.5-20 elevation at 100 yards moves 4 inches. One click of 3-9 at 50 yards moves 1 inch. Windage moves 1/8" at 50 and 1/4" at 100 as expected. I will keep the 3-9 on my Ruger 10/22, but I am returning this 6.5-20 that I tested on with my Savage .308. My .308 elevation and windage could both be adjusted by 1/4" at 100 yards with my Centerpoint 4-16 x 40, but its short 2" eye relief was scary. I will test a Nikon scope for the .308. The Walmart in-store return process for Walmart.com is awesome.
I have not had time to use this scope as much as I would like but so far I believe it is going to do what I expect it to do. It has very clear optics evenon the high power settings. I would have no problem in saying it is comparable to much more expensive scopes that I use on other rifles.
attached to my rifle with easy.great scope for the price
