Buyers beware! Hayneedle drops ball :-(
I'm so disappointed in the poor product quality of these bath sheets, but even more disappointed in Hayneedle's customer service representatives. After only the third washing, one of these bath sheets just fell apart along the long hemline. The hem came loose and unraveled all along the edge. When I contacted Hayneedle for help, I described the problem, acknowledged the 30-day return/exchange period was up, but said I felt certain they would want to make this right for a loyal customer like me who has spent a lot of money at Hayneedle through the years. All I received was a Hayneedle form reply stating the 30-day period had expired and they would not exchange or accept a return. I figured an inexperienced customer service rep, who lacked the knowledge of the finer points of customer service, had sent me the form reply. I wrote Hayneedle back to ask for a pair of fresh eyes on the situation, asking them kindly to make this right. Hayneedle never even responded to my second request! It felt like once they got my money and the 30 days were up, they didn't care about customer service. I was pretty shocked.
