Good budget 2-way radios
Distance is always overstated on 2-way radios. These went 3700 ft (0.7 miles) down a flat street in a residential. This was drastically decreased by turning off the main street and putting homes in between. The signal was also lost with a hill in between the same distance. They work good at a park, beach, or near flat campsite or hike. The sound was okay when there wasn't much background noise. Sound was a little muffled and we had repeat ourselves once some of the time. Not a major problem with adults but I returned them since I am using them to keep tabs on my kids. I need to be able to hear them, and vice versa, clearly on the first try. Also, will different radios with privacy stations since in the city it felt almost all channels were already in use by someone else. They are good budget friendly radios but leave a lot to be desired that requires paying quite a bit more.
