Play Doh takes to the air
My 3 year old was so excited when he saw the Play Doh Launch Game when Hasbro Gaming and Bzzagent sent me games to review and give feedback. This is my true opinion of the game. It was very easy to assemble and was ready to play a few minutes after we got it out of the box. All 3 kids, (3, 6, 8) got involved and even dad liked playing with the play doh and launcher. They had fun as you do with Play doh. The older children will play with it if it is out but the 3 year old actually asks to play with almost everyday. As a mom my only complaint is that if a launch doesn't make it in the can it will probably end up on the floor.

great concept, poor performance
I received this game for free from BzzAgent and Hasbro for product review. My 7 year old was super excited when he saw this game. From the box, it looked like loads of fun. It was fairly easy to put together and required a C battery, which we were lucky to have on hand. Once we started playing, we realized that it wasn't quite what it seemed from the box. The game piece to make the balls didn't really work well and my son eventually just started using his hands to make the balls. The launcher was not very accurate and he seldom made it in the cup. Also, the play doh cup kept getting stuck in place and we had to manually turn it to get it moving again. The game quickly ended, but my 7 year old had about an hour of fun playing with the play doh and making all the shapes included on the game piece. Overall, we were not impressed with this game and I would not recommend it.

Fun for All Ages!

This game was so much fun! The age range is 4 years and up! So it's perfect for our little family. It's so hard to find games that our 5 year old can enjoy with us. There is some set up required. It only took a few minutes though to put it together. You just need to add the launch pieces (3 of them) and the play-doh man. It does required a C battery which is not included. It comes with 3 cans of Play-Doh which is used during game play. The object of the game is make little play-doh balls that you “launch” at the play-doh man in the middle. Each player takes a launch pad and a different color of play-doh. The launch pad has a mold in it. The directions read to make 10 small balls of play-doh before game play starts. Once you begin to play the play-doh man spins around and the lid moves up and down while you try to launch your pieces of play-doh into the can. Now this took a little bit of getting used to. Once you get the hang of it though it's not super difficult. Our 5 year old did have a hard time with it though because you need to push down on the launch button pretty hard to get enough momentum to get the play-doh into the can. The first person to get 3 pieces into the can wins. Actually we just played it and didn't really worry to much about who won but if your the competitive type that's how you win! It was pretty fun, we enjoyed it. My 5 year old did get a little frustrated though towards the end. She is so independent she didn't want any help and it was difficult for her to do on her own. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using BzzAgent.com.

Giggles Galore!

Play-Doh Launch is such a cool game that really allows the players an interactive experience. We have played this game as a family, but I have also pulled it out when I have my son's friends over for play-dates. The game is brightly colored and involves rolling up balls of Play-Doh and launching them into a moving Play-Doh can that's located in the middle of the game unit. I had a riot playing this with my son, we giggled so much while playing. The kids really loved it too...they laughed even more! The unit was easy to put together and in all honesty doesn't really make a mess since you're simply making little Play-Doh balls, so you don't have to worry about scraping dried play-Doh off the floor after playing. I would definitely recommend this game, especially if you host play-dates because the kid's will love it, and you will love seeing the smiles and giggles! #GotItFree #HasbroGamingGifts I received this game for free from Hasbro and BzzAgent for testing purposes...all opinions are my own

♡ Play-doh fun ♡

Best part I like about this particular game is that is simple to set up, even without instructions it would be easy to figure out how to. Once disassembled it fits magically back into its box. When I got this game for the first time,I thought that it could get really messy but if an adult is supervising it will not happen .It's very simple to make your cannons using the press that is built into each players end of the game. The press to shape the balls before flinging them ensured that they were a good size and shape.I think I had more fun playing with the Play-Doh than launching it. My kids found it more fun to use the molds than launching, although they liked with launching the Play-Doh. I ended up buying many more Colors of Playdoh because the small Plato containers that came with this game weren't enough to keep my kids happy. The Play-Doh launch game has brought a whole bucket of laughter into my household. Thanks to #bzzagent for giving me this as a free gift.

Fun game for young children

We received this game from Hasbro as part of a promotion. My kids (ages 4,4 and 7) love it. Before playing the game, players must roll Play-Doh in marble sized balls. This took my kids a good five minutes or more the first time we played, but they loved it because they were playing with Play-Doh. The actual game is fast-paced and short. Players use plastic flippers to launch Play-Doh balls in a rotating mouth. The first player to get 3 balls in the mouth wins. It takes my kids about 1-3 minutes to play each game, and they play several games at a time. The only potential negatives are (1) only three players can play at a time (but games are short so kids should be able to take turns) and (2) the game requires batteries which aren't included. Overall though great game for young kids.

Lots of fun!!

We received this game free from Hasbro and Bzz Agent. This game was a blast for my 7, 5 and 4 year old. It was fairly simple to put together and requires a "C" battery. The idea is simple, launch little Play Doh balls into the the lid of the rotating Play Doh character. At first, they had some trouble figuring out the right amount of pressure needed to do this. After a few practice tries and some over and under launching, they did it. It kept their attention for quite some time. I would say that ages 5 and up would enjoy this. My 4 year old lost interest fairly quickly. They laughed and I only had to pick up a few lost Play Doh balls, so I would say it was a success and I would recommend this game.

Because of this, Play-Doh is now allowed!

Okay, I'm going to be very honest here. I have been one of those parents who has ALWAYS been against Play-Doh simply because of the inevitable mess that it leaves. Whether it's smears on the table, chunks in the carpet, or hidden Play-Doh balls scattered throughout the house. I received the Play-Doh Launch Game, as well as a few other Hasbro products, for free through a promotion. I won't lie, I was really dreading the Play-Doh experience simply because of the messiness as mentioned above. After opening the Launch Game and setting it up my kids were of course thrilled to know that the moment has finally come to play with Play-Doh here at home. Haha Now to add to my fears of Play-Doh messiness, not only would we be playing with it but we would be launching it! Putting my feelings aside I sat down and started playing with my children. I was in absolute shock because honestly I didn't care about the Play-Doh mess. I didn't care that there were Play-Doh balls probably lying in areas of the house to never be found, lol All I seemed to notice was how much fun we were all having. This game is great, fun, challenging, and can be addicting. First one to 3 wins and let me tell you this truly brought out the competitive nature of my family! We all had a blast launching Play-Doh balls into the cup! Highly Recommended!

Fun for group or independent play!

We received this game from Hasbro for a free trial (thanks #bzzagent). I admit I was skeptical for two reasons: I pretty much envisioned this as messy and short-lived on fun. I was amazed to find that my 8-year old loved playing this - and we did too. The Play-Doh wasn't anywhere near as messy as I expected. Sure there were some crumbles on the table but the combination of the short-distance launching arm along with the fact that Play-Doh pretty much stops where it lands alleviated any messy clean-up. And it really is fast-paced fun. We've played this numerous times (and have changed the rules to make the games longer (e.g., more balls needed to win). Sure, it's not something you're going to play for hours but it's a quick pick-up game/activity. My only complaint is that the on-off switch is inconveniently located and was initially a bit sticky to turn on-off. Turning the game off means interfering with/stopping the turning middle piece that makes it click/grind a bit.

Launch-able = loveable!

My boys 2 and 7 think Play Doh time should be a daily activity so it was no surprise that this game was a hit. We received it free via BzzAgent and Hasbro games. I didn't realize it needed batteries so when first played it was without the batteries which was just as much fun for them. Even more fun after the batteries brought the can guy to life. I liked that when they got bored with the game there were other molds and activities they could do and the play continued. It comes with three separate stations so you don't have to move it around and there where no black eyes given because someone didn't want to share. It comes with three tubs of three different colors play doh. This is a generous amount and it's not necessary to purchase more. My 2 year old enjoyed this game more than my 7 year old but we experience very loud giggling from both boys during launch time...not to be mistaken for lunch time. Great game for all ages, multipurpose and easy clean up.

Average fun

My kids were excited to try this game, although they are a little bit older (8 and 11). We got this game to try for free from Bzzagent. We set it up easily, although you do have to have a C battery. It was mildly fun, but wouldn't provide entertainment for very long. I can see it being a toy a younger child (3-6) would like because they could play the game a few times and then just play with the playdoh and molds that come on each arm of the game. The game is cute and colorful. And we all love brand new playdoh! I think we had more fun enjoying the fresh playdoh. The game works by having each player make balls of playdoh that they will launch into the yellow playdoh guy in the middle spins around. Your goal is to shoot one in as he turns toward you. Whoever gets three in first wins. You can change it up by having the winner have to get more than three in to win. Or you can use the shape molds and shoot in shapes. So I wouldn't recommend this over other games, as my kids haven't requested to get it out again.

Launching giggles

PLay Doh Launch is a fun game for sure!!My kids have laughed and laughed playing this game. We received it as a Bzz capaighn to review. At first I thought we were gonna dislike it for a cple reasons. Batteries not included! They are not your typical everyday batteries We C size. After all the fuss and running to the store for batteries it was on like donkey kong. I was worried about getting the play dough in the carpet so I made them play at the table. Its been atleast a month now since we got the game and they ask to play it everyday still. Im pretty sure the Kids love the competitive side of it. Each player has there own color to use and you never have to worry about losing the piece as play doh is easy replace. Game play simple Make your play doh balls put in launcher and time your launch according to the play doh guy. It provides great sensory and keeps kids busy at the table while I get the cooking done. Glad we got to try this out. Its a hitt for our family.

TONS of fun!!

Who doesn't love Playdoh!? All 3 of my kids love it (as do I), so they were pretty excited to play this. Before the game started everyone made a ton of balls and I helped my 3 year old. Smaller kids wouldn't be able to make them fast enough making older kids more likely to win, if different age groups are playing together. It is somewhat hard to get the balls into the cup because the timing has to be just right, but for the most part it's not too difficult. My 10 and 5 year old had fun, with the 5 year old getting frustrated. The 3 year old just thought it was hilarious to launch them. Even after I turned the game off they still played with it, making balls and the different cut-outs. The only problem is that this game HAS to have separate colors. Once colors get mixed, it'll be difficult to play. I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind Play-doh and the small mess it creates. **I'm a member of BzzAgent and got this product free from a promotion. I wasn't required to write a review and these are my own opinions.

A love hate relationship for a Mom

I received this game from Hasbro for free to try. It does not come with batteries so be sure to pick one up ("C"). My little kids had fun with this game but if hitting the launch button hard the ball or whatever shape they made out of play-doh would go flying off the table. Three can play at a time so picture that! I'm all about my kids having fun but this was a little much for me.

It would have been fun

It would have been a fun game if it didn't break within 5 min after opening it. The middle container would get stuck and quit spinning

Easy to Play!!

I really loved this game because it was really easy to play! When I am opening a game, and my kids are jumping around excitedly, it is very important that I can quickly unbox and set up the game before the excitement turns to frustration. This game fit the bill. Unfortunately we had a minor set back....I didn't realize that this needed a battery. No problem, I have lots of AA and AAA batteries! Nope. This game requires a C-battery. This minor set was a failure on my part to read the packaging. Now to the game play. The instructions are easy to understand. The kids loves molding little pieces to launch at Orange in the center. He moves his arms around to avoid getting hit. The kids were surprisingly successful at launching their pieces and hitting their target! Their was lots of giggling and happy shrieks. We are very happy with this game! I received this product free from Hasbro as part of a BzzAgent Campaign.

Lost interest very quickly

Lost interest very quick. Was nothing that I thought it would be. My son like just the playdoh. It doesn't really do a good job making the balls and then the object doesn't really eject very well. Maybe if my kids were younger they might not care as much or enjoy it more. Put it together once, played it once, and nothing since. I did receive this for free from hasboro so I do thank them but I just really don't recommend going out and buying this.

just ok

I recently got the chance to review this product for free from Hasbro. I gave it my kids yesterday and they were all excited to try it. My 3 & 5 year olds wanted to play it but the 9 & 11 year olds were uninterested. Out the box you need to put it together a little bit but its pretty simple and fast. There are three separate playing parts that you must attach and allows for three kids to play and you must attach the moving bucket in the middle. Very simple, these pieces go right on. You must also supply a size C battery to allow the bucket to move. Once we got it all set up, I helped my kids to make the balls to launch for the game. They liked this part, it was fun for them. We then turned the game on so they could launch the balls and the excitement lasted maybe five minutes. They started getting frustrated because not many were making it in and just wanted to place it in there themselves. I tried and was able to make it every once in a while but once the bucket gets about half full, it's almost impossible to make any go in unless you move them around or take some out. After they got done with that part, I showed them that they could just make shapes with their play-doh. There are about ten different shapes on each players launch pad and this is what they liked the most. Overall, I'm glad I didn't buy this game & I probably wouldn't recommend it. My kids just didn't like the actual game play aspect of this toy.

Great for all ages!

I received this game #gotadiscount and My children have not stopped playing it since we got it ! We got some other games as well, but they really like this one. My children are 3, 5 and 12. All girls, They love to challenge each other to see who can get the most special shapes in like the ice cream! They set this up at the table to see who can win before dinner is done. Sure beats me having to explain every 5 seconds when dinner would be ready ! definitely worth getting for the kiddos

Play Doh Fun

One giant (not included) C battery later and some arms attached and we were ready to play! My 6 and 4 year old took turns figuring out how to properly launch the play doh. After several tries though, they had it down to a science. They played for about an hour and then called it quits. They did continue playing with the play doh for another hour so this toy is great because it's almost like you get two toys for the price of one! There are little molds on the game that allow for continued play. Clean up was painless and my kids did say they couldn't wait to play again before bedtime. From a parent perspective, I did like that it wasn't a noisy toy, it encouraged team work as they figured out the best way to launch the doh, and it provided major giggle fits which is nice to hear compared to the daily kid bickering. I do wish there had been an extra launcher so that kids could play in groups of four, but having only three arms was not a deal breaker for us. I am a BzzAgent and receieved this toy as part of a campaign. #GotItFree #HasbroGamingGift
