Finally an amazing product.
This product is absolutely amazing. We have tried every product out there and we have never gotten these results! So very pleased. Thank you very much for such an amazing product that works. Whole process per vehicle took about 30 minutes each. The proof is in my pictures!
This was fantastic. Here is before and after. Even the Ford symbol in the middle benefited from a good sanding and polishing! I was able to do two cars with this one kit!
Product and procedure worked extremely well on my wife's 08 Accord. The results were astonishing, restoring lenses that were horribly yellowed. I did not have a variable speed drill due to dead batteries, so the majority of the work I did by hand. I actually did not mind, because I felt like I had far more control. I was able to use my regular drill for the polishing stages. In the end the results were unbelievable. The lenses look and perform almost like new.
I drive the hwy 114 miles a day & my 2009 civic takes a beating. My lights were pretty cloudy, so I thought I'd try this. I worked better than I thought so I took before & after pics. Ignore the splatter marks, they wiped right off. For $20 I can't complain, it's $100 to have the headlamps done by a shop.
Great product! (keep surface wet)
Follow directions on the pamphlet in the box and the result is like a new headlamp. Use old fabrise bottle to atomize water. Keep surface wet. Use battery drill. Keep surface wet. If headlamp is yellow, 800 grit will take yellow off. Keep surface wet. Follow directions using 1500, (keep surface wet) 3000, and then foam ball w/polish. Keep surface wet. Great product.
I didn't think the the headlights could be saved.
Bought a used truck with heavily oxidized headlights. It took some time and effort. I would say a couple hours total. I did two totally separate applications and some 2000 grit hand wet sanding to get these results but what a difference. Headlights with light oxidation would be a easy way less time fix. Use a lot of water from a spray bottle when sanding. Amazing kit.
Works ok. Did not get the lens 100 percent and the velcro wore out after so its a one time use item.
Strips the plastic off your lights that's how it repairs
Easy way to destroy your headlights.
Terrible experience. Chewed up my drivers side headlight really bad. Sanding pad failed and left horrible streaks. Don't bother.
I did not receive the total kit I was missing the tool and the 3000 grit
Worked great, my headlights are clean and clear!
This product got my headlights looking brand new! I have a Scion TC 2006 and the headlights looked so foggy you couldn't see the light-bulb inside. After using this 4 step process the headlights looked like factory. Rather than covering up the oxidization this actually strips it off leaving the headlights crystal clear.
Doesn't work as advertised - It works better!!!
2007 car had some very dull looking head lights, was hesitant to try this kit, mainly because of the price, $23.97 in the store, but that was a lot less than one new head light assembly. Figured why not and got the kit and gave it a go. Followed the instructions exactly and the junk just rolled off those lights. Must use low speeds with the drill motor using the sanding disks, or will burn and melt the head lights, slow and easy and keep the surface wet with water, clean surface then move to the next finer disk and still go slow and easy keeping the surface wet as you sand, same thing with the finer 3000 grit disk. use higher speed when using the polish/sealer and the buffing disk, no water. Clean with a soft dry cloth and look at the nice new looking head light. Did both lights on a HHR in just an hour, give or take and the lights look like new, not almost like new, these lights look brand new. As usual, only complaint is the price on line compared to the in store price, in store is quite a bit higher. Thanks WW.
I bought this to use on my son's 2002 Saturn that he bought this month. The headlights were really foggy and dirty as you can see in the photos. Following the directions, it took me less the an hour to sand them down and polish them according to the instructions. I highly recommend this product. You may have to polish them again later on, but it's much cheaper than buying new or used headlights.
I love my car- everything but the front headlights. When I bought the car, they were yellow, scratched, and cloudy. I considered replacing them with new headlights. A guy at work recommended using this first. I'm so glad I tried it! My headlights look almost like new now. Check out my before and after picture. Two complaints with it is there is barely any instructions and my lights taper and there is only 1 size pads, so it was extremely difficult to get into the small parts with the drill. But I did those parts to hand and overall, I'm extremely happy with this!
One of the 2 headlights on my new used and otherwise beautiful Infiniti G35 had damage far beyond the typical oxidation. Much deeper, possibly caused by a chemical, acid or a badly botched prior restoration. I tried another product that had worked for me before with no luck and was told by a body shop that it was unrestorable. A new light was $400 so I gave this a shot. It took a ton of work (4-5 hrs) but i could see gradual improvement and stuck with it. Sand, polish and repeat over and over... Don't expect to spend nearly this much time with typical oxidized lights even badly oxidized one's. Mine was an extreme case. Frankly, for typical restorations you don't need a drill powered kit, the cheaper one's work well for that. With this kit though and lots of time, patience and elbow grease even "unrestorable" headlights can look showroom perfect.
Got the job done, from yellow to clear.
Used other "polish only" in the past that did not last. Decided to use the drill with sandpaper this time for a more thorough and (hopefully) longer lasting effect. Worked great for me. Did one headlight at a time to get the technique down. The second headlight came out much better, went back and did the 1st one a second time, but not for as long. Both came out very clear. Needed both hands on the drill to help it to move steadily. Make sure you do not rush each step, especially the 800 grit sandpaper step. Keep rinsing with each step. Suggest doing small areas at a time. Plan to use the rest of the polish along with the Powerball for maintenance treatments when needed.
Corrected poor results from previous product.
I tried another, more expensive product first with poor results from the polishing stage. Went to Walmart and bought this. I had already used three sanding stages from previous product and had left a few scratches, so I turned to the 3000 grit pad with this and got the lens in better shape. Using my cordless drill, I then worked with the foam ball and polish and got great results. Took just over a half hour to complete. BTW - most Walmarts match the online price. My store charged over $20 by scanning the price. I showed them the $10.81 online price and they matched it. Hard to beat at that price!
I used this product to clean the haze off of my daughters 2006 Beetle. Very easy to use, didn't need the heavy duty pads, just the polish and foam attachment on my drill.
works better than I thought it would. new headlights would have been $357 for the set. I had nothing to lose at $24 so gave it a go the result was new headlights. They look as good as new.
