This works SO much better than the previous yellow aerosol can of Pam! I really like the coconut flavor, use coconut oil when I cook, so this matches well.
This is great for cooking and it can also add some shine to your hair.
More healthier and taste great.
Started about a year ago eating healthier. Read about it in magazines and my daughter had me try it Love it.
About time Pam added coconut oil to there line of oil sprays for cooking .
Great nonstick spray
I love this spray. It doesn't smoke or brown up in a hot pan like original Pam. It is flavorless, so you don't get any coconut flavor on the foods you're cooking.
Use this when microwaving eggs. No strong flavor. No sticking. Learned this trick from Sistema microwave egg cooker: Spray bowl, crack egg, add to bowl. Add salt/pepper & scramble, if desired. Put vented cover, or saucer set askew, over bowl. Microwave on high abt 80 seconds. Add cheese, etc on egg; re-cover for a minute or so; enjoy.
Low Smoking Point
A bit disappointing. Low smoking point, burns easily in skillet. Probably better for preparing bakeware.
Too much mist
I have used other brands if spray coconut oil. I need more and bought this because it was the only brand on the shelves. When I use it, I can't breath because the mist is so heavy. It also smokes really bad. I'll find another one It do without. I won't buy this again
I have always used Pam products and was so excited to see the Coconut Oil formula. The cans will NOT spray! I have returned 3 cans and the same result. My grocer will not replace anymore so I am stuck with this one. Then to top off the aggravation, the can has leaked everywhere! Bad invention ConAgra
Do Not Use For Baking!!!!
This product is OK for cooking on the stovetop - sauteeing, etc. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WHEN BAKING! It will burn whatever food you put time into preparing. This has happened to me over 4 times (I keep trying to give it another chance, being optimistic) but it consistently burns anything I bake. It can be a casserole, muffins, bread, or cookies.... if you use this spray on your pan... your food will turn out with a burnt, black, base. Awful. PAM - please warn consumers that your spray does not work in the OVEN! For gods sake!
This oil will not spray. Have tried everything, warmed the can, cleaned the new nozzle and shook like crazy. Terrible product!
Coconut oil spray
Did not spray.
The can did not work. It did not spray and it just dribbled out.
Just use real oil
I bought a can before I realized that the healthy fats were removed and replaced with soy lechtin. Instead of using the natural lubricant that the fat produces, PAM decided to remove it and replce it with garbage.
I've used PAM products FOREVER. Being on a new food plan, where I'm using either coconut oil or extra v. olive oil for cooking, I purchased a can of Pam Coconut Oil. Unfortunately, no matter what I did (run valve under warm water, shake the daylights out of the can, etc. WOULD NOT SPRAY. Went through recommendations multiple times, to no available. So completely unusable ~ and I won't be purchasing again!
Stick with the Original PAM
I always use original PAM for my eggs in the morning and they come out of the pan beautifully, but when I used the coconut oil spray, they really got stuck. The temperature was not high, either. I would NOT recommend this. I used the rest of the can for body spray. LOL
Stops spraying multiple times
Brand new can wouldn't spray. Followed directions on can. Ran under hot water, align red dot to spray nozzle. Shake well. Works sometimes. Sometimes, I have to repeat entire process again. Regardless of outcome The following day I have to do it all over again. Come on guys. Will not be purchasing again.
Can clogs regularly. Good quality
Healthy Alternative in Cooking Sprays
I love Pam Coconut Oil cooking spray. It is the healthiest alternative in cooking sprays!
Works really good! I think better than original pam. It does however get clogged very easily. have to run the sprayer under hot water for a minute to loosen it up.
