Light weight, compact and yet still a ton of room. Not flimsy like other cheaper bags and beats a box any day of the week. I just cant say enough about it. I love it and will be buying my dad one for fathersday as well.
Just got this bag, I was really surprised at how huge this bag is. 4 huge plastic boxes, compartments on every side (except bottom) even inside the top. I was able to get lots of lures, plastics and other equipment including scents into the compartments and boxes. Seems to be really durable, zippers seem a little chinsy, but we'll see how they hold up. The bottom is really durable with a really thick material to prevent scuffing. Heading to BWCA for a week, so we'll see how it holds up in the wilderness.
I got it and yet still in contact. Light weight and i love how i can have an. Extra hand to carry something while it is strapped to my back.or shoulder nice room four nice big crackle trays and yet lots room still. But otherwise its worth the money.
I started off with a Plano hard tackle box but it lacked storage and the trays were quite flimsy. I decided to purchase a tackle bag and this one looked the best by far. Plus I am a big fan of Abu Garcia products as well so that was a plus. The bag is made of what appears to be very high quality and durable materials. It has plenty of pockets on the sides and front/rear for storage as well as a place to hold a spool of line. There are also other storage pockets and zippered storage areas inside the main storage pockets. It comes with four plastic clamshell boxes that are customizable for the various lures and terminal tackle you'd need. Unfortunately one of the boxes was broken so I discarded it but still have plenty of room in the other 3 boxes. The latches on the boxes are quite flimsy and make it a bit annoying to latch down once open but it's not a huge deal. You can remove sections of each box to accommodate bigger lures, pliers, etc. The dimensions of the clamshell boxes that come with the bag are slightly different than similar boxes sold by Plano or Flambeau should you wish to use their boxes instead, but you should be able to find a box that is close enough in size. I haven't bothered yet as I am using the boxes it came with but my only complaint would be the quality of the plastic clam shell boxes. After using a tackle bag I'd be hard pressed to ever go back to a tackle box. I would have given this 5 stars but since one of the clam shell hard boxes was broken I am giving it 4 stars. It would be too much of a hassle to return/exchange since I really like the bag. I will be looking for a Flambeau or Plano clamshell to replace the ones it came with next season.
