First, get yourself a ratchet, a 1/2" socket, a 1/2" wrench, a 5/32" socket ans a 1/4-20 tap. Take the allen wrench you get with it, cut it about an inch long and throw away the rest and the other tools you get with it. Make sure and run a screw in each thread to see if it goes in. If not, the 14-20 tap. One of the threads was covered in weld. Use the sawed off allen wrench with the ratchet and the 5/32" socket. Much faster. Use the 1/2" stuff for bottom bracket. Much easier. Other than taking over an hour to assemble, these chairs are quite comfortable and nice looking. My wife likes the design and overall feel of the set.
