Tool shed made easy
My wife and I were looking for a tool shed and this building worked out perfectly. Assembly was easy.
Best Shed I've Had in 40 years
We've already owned Keter Sheds, so no worries about another purchase. This beauty arrived well-packaged and earlier than expected. I already prepared a surface (pavers) for it and began assembly when it arrived. Every step of the way went smoothly - no missing or damaged parts. I like the sky light, and you can choose on which side to have the window. It's the same floor size as my previous shed, but taller. I put an LED solar light over the door. In the photo you can see my other shed next to it - still in use after more than 12 years. Keter sheds are sturdy and well designed. We like this one so much considering another. It's really nice looking as well. Wife likes it. Couldn't be happier.
Cute, Easy, Breesy!
It wasn't real hard to put together! Instructions could have been a little more clearer, but the instructions were not understandable! It took 3 people 2 hours to put it all together down to the very last screw!
Love the shed but oh what problems to get it. When it finally came in, box looked like it had been in a war. Well guess what, it had. Tried getting a replacement and there are none available. Called Wal-Mart.com and the rep. was great trying to find another one. No luck. I need the shed now. Maybe I should call JG Wentworth.
I have had the shed up for a couple months now. Assembly took a little time but there were no issues. Directions were easy to follow. Several steps do require 2 people. Once together it seems solid. It has been through several heavy rain storms, one that produced a tornado and golf ball size hail and it had no damage and everything inside has stayed dry. I have seen no leaks. Size wise, the shed you get is never big enough no matter what the dimensions but for the space I was putting this one in and for what I wanted it for it is the perfect size. The only down side to the Resin sides that I see is being able to attach anything to the walls. It is set up to put a 12" shelf at several heights and comes with 1 center support but if you want multiple sturdy shelves you'll have to fabricate or buy something. I don't see screwing any kind of hooks into the walls.
Solidly Built and it Fit Together Nicely
Having a level surface is key. I poured a slab. The minimum dimension is 48" X 73.2" for your slab. I bought 13 bags of concrete mix (60lbs each) and poured a 3" inch slab. Is it necessary? No, but it assures your shed stays dry, free from most insects and level. If you don't pour a slab spend the extra time to make your surface totally level. The actual build goes so much smoother as the pegs will all fit right...trust me on this. I put it together in under 2 hours by myself. Instructions are done well. You can mount the window on either side. If you live down South I recommend the window face North or East to cut down on the solar radiation. The door can swing either way too. You will need a step ladder. A rubber mallet and drill is nice to have. A utility knife is necessary as you might have to trim the plastic pegs to allow the metal lock washers full travel. Be easy on using the power drill. I recommend to finish each screw driven by a screwdriver. A pair of channellocks or similar pliers are nice to tighten your pegs another 1/8 or 1/4 turn after hand tighten. Finally, the roof panels are a little tricky but I found if you inserted one corner at an angle and slid it diwn the channel and into place...it worked easier. The roof panels should lay into the outside fascia (not overhanging). This is a really nice project to do with your kids. Finally, a huge plus for me is I can stand upright in it (I'm 6' 4").
Had a defective door handle. I contacted the company and they responded the same day. Part is on its way.
I would definitely recommend the purchase of this shed.
The shed was very easy to put together. All of the parts were well marked and easy to identify. I was able to complete the installation within one hour. Fully put together, the shed looks great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Once it's together, it's great!!!!
I will give honest criticism from start to finish. When the box was delivered, it was open on one end. I checked to make sure if everything was inside and it was. One of the pieces was warped, but it didn't end up making a big impact. Putting it together took between 3-4 hours. The instructions were not that clear. Once we got it together, it looks beautiful....it was just getting there was the challenge.
The price was good but it arrived in thin walled cardboard boxes that were together but just barely and fell apart upon bringing them into setup area. Setup difficulty is fair since putting together one of these is always not a pleasant experience. One corner panel was bent out of proportion and I was missing an upper support part both will take one to seven weeks to come in. In meanwhile will setup as much as possible. Not a great experience. Disappointed in Walmart at this time.
Not Strong and Sturdy, Warping Already
Only had for 3 months now and the back of shed has warped and no longer enclosed. Poor quality and not strong at all. I will be attempting a return.
Boxes torn and pieces were damaged
Poor quality control, the packages should have never been shipped. Very disappointed in their system. This package was the last one in stock which means I won't get a replacement. Plus it will take 60 days to get my 855.96 refund back.
Needs a good base.
This unit went together very nice but it needs a good base to sit on. I made a platform from pressure treated lumber and plywood. I will see how it holds up to snow.
Nice little shed
Easy to assemble took 2 people about 2 hours to finish.
Washer and dryer shed
Great for an outdoor washer and dryer shed.
Good: roof taller than expected, 2 person build in 1 1/2 hours. Easy instructions, has a floor. Extra front opening, fit in 7 passenger van- barely Bad: floor is thin-it needs support. used 4 pallets as a base. Real bad: shipped via Yellow Freight to the store- box badly damaged, creased, holes, ripped, box taped together- almost refused. Was 5 days late after 2 seperate promised dates.
I had problem to assemble hunchback.
This is a great storage shed. Goes together in less than two hours with simple tools. Hint use some silicon spray on the edges to ease assembly
Overall a good product, especially for the price. Wasn't terribly hard to put together. Seems pretty sturdy and it's kept out the rain
I canât complain one bit it came in one big box in OK shape very easy to put together just follow directions I did it myself in two hours Not the Strongest material Weâll see how it holds up to the weather
