Just took the cover off my pool. I doubt I will ever get the pool water clean. More then a inch of junk on bottom of pool, water greener then a leprecon's green felt hat. I am so mad. you can poke your finger through the cover any where you want. Cover already in the truck going to the dump. The cover is so porous its lets the water run trough it then sit on top of the cover, anything in the water seeps through and goes to the bottom of the pool. My 10 year old cover is in better shape then 9 months of this cover. My old cover was past it's warranty is why I got a new cover. JUNK JUNK JUNK.
Shipping and receiving went great. The pool cover was missing two(2) sets of gourments in the outer seams. I was able to remove 2 gourments from my old cover and punch in new holes and install them into the new cover. Secondly, the cable that came with the cover was to short so I had to splice in approximately 6 foot of an additional cable to make it work.
If you have a 24' pool, I would go a size up it is a tight fit.
Barely covered our 24ft pool - cable is pretty thin. Seems to be holding up well, though it is early in the winter season yet.
tore before we even got it on the pool. the grommets were poorly secured.
inexpensive pool cover- for much less than the same covers are sold with pool supply stores.
I am very disappointed in this product. It is nothing but a cheaper and thinner version of a tarp. The pillow that was for the center of the pool deflated 4 hrs after the cover/tarp was on, so it is useless. There was barely enough cover (tarp) to cover the pool. It started ripping in areas 1 week after it was placed on the pool. I am not usually a complainer, but as I said, I am very disappointed in this product and surprised Walmart would carry such an item in their stores.
