If you are looking for something easy to put up yourself, this pool certainly is not what your looking for. This is the same type pool you buy from the pool store and have installed by the pro's. If your handy, you and at least 2 buddies can install this pool and save yourself thousands of dollars. Leveling the ground is the most important and the hardest of work, especially if you are installing the pool on a grade. Having the right tools is also important. A sod cutter and roto-tiller are almost essential and will save you a lot of work and will save your back. Installing tips... It says to overlap the liner 4 inches, you may want to try 5 or 6 inches to reduce wrinkles in the liner. I had to redo my liner twice before getting it right and have the ability to fill it. I found that most of the holes in the top rail did not line up, so you will probably have to do some custom drilling. What the directions do not tell you is having large pipe wrenches is important to install all the fittings for the filter. The pool is of great quality. If installed correctly and properly maintained, you will certainly be able to enjoy this pool for 10+ years. From leveling the ground to complete assembly it took me two full weekends. I was missing a part when I received the shipment. I actually got the pool completely up when I realized that I was missing a verticle post. I simply called the manufacturer and they sent a new one out. And answered all my questions. The instructions for assembling and installing the filter and skimmer is not very clear. You may want to look at aanother pool to get a good idea. Like I said, If you do not want / like HARD WORK do not buy this pool. 3 grown people can do this but 4 would be ideal. There is no way a typical husband and wife team could complete this. Save the arguments, save your marriage, and get some help!
