I have bought this brand of tires (Goodyear Viva 2) from Walmart for all three of my cars (American & Import). They have great traction in the rain and snow. They roll good on the highway at high speeds and in town at low speeds in city handling. I strongly recommend getting the road hazard protection plan and lifetime rotation which is now a separate price (about an additional $20 per tire). Any time there is a problem walmart will repair it or replace it. This is a good tire for the price.
Drove over to Walmart, Centereach, NY. The staff was very helpful. These tires were in stock.
2 hours later. I had 4 new tires installed. The ride home was smooth. MY Corrolla has a new ride to it.
I have a regular mechanic. I never go to Walmart for car service. I was very impressed with the
customer service I received. Would highly recommend my friends to purchase their ties @ Walmart. Thank you.
quiet and smooth riding, very good in the rain, rating is 440,A,B same as integrity tire but $36 less. for 195-65-15 size. total cost with the works 410. i will install tire on my other cars when needed.
These tires came on my vehicle I bought used, I have drove them from 30k miles to 46k miles of their life. Dry Traction has been adequate, no problems have been noticed, but in any form of rain/wet I have had multiple instances of lost traction and tires slipping. Moderate braking has caused lose of traction, and moderate acceleration in 1st and 2nd has caused tirespin. I have also experienced minor under steer. Road noise seems high, could be vehicle also, 2004 Mazda 3 2.0l. Treadwear seems even, I'm not sure if they will hit 60k, but I'm not excited about having them that much longer. I would never buy these tires again, I've never lost traction with any other vehicle/tire. This could be attributed to my small tire size, 195/65/15, but it just goes to show these tires don't have what it takes to be a true all-season tire. With a big tire size, and pretty weather, you might be fine, but in rain I don't suggest going the speed limit or applying the brakes.
