excellent monitor

I have owned personal computer since 1982 and experienced many iterations of upgrades. I have owned cheap CRT to expensive Multi-sync monitors. I have only owned 7 flat screen LED monitors and This V7 22" LED Widescreen is the best I have owned. I have only had it for a week so I don't know about durability, but the picture quality, sharpness and colors are great. I have it connected to an NVIDIA GT 620 graphic card using a dual link DVI cable (sold separately -- comes with VGA cable). I bought it for the price, but the picture quality is excellent. I have it as my main monitor sitting next to a second monitor (HP 20 inch with 1600 x 900 resolution.) The V7 with 1080p resolution is noticeable better than the 20 inch secondary monitor.

    I bought this monitor last week and it arrived within 5 days of ordering it online on Walmart's website. The monitor is AMAZING value for money. I bought it for $99, which was cheaper than what I could find on Amazon/Newegg/ebay. My primary use is surfing the web, and programming. I don't use it for gaming so I can't say whether the 5ms refresh time is fast enough for games. The resolution is full HD (1920x1080), contrast and color reproduction are great. The OSD menu is easy to use. There's a VESA mounting slot on the back if you want to mount it on the wall. There are VGA and DVI inputs. The monitor comes only with a VGA cable. If you want to connect DVI, you can get an HDMI to DVI cable for about $4 (with shipping) on ebay. I haven't ...

    Fantastic monitor

    I am very pleased with this monitor. Not only was set up simple, but the display is crisp and clear and the sound provided by the built in speakers is a plus as there is less desk clutter. The price was great and the product well worth the purchase.

    V7 22" Monitor

    Great for my son (Gaming)

    My son said he loves it so far..bright colors and perfect for his computer games. The only problem is there is a green dot on the screen(l.e.d.?), but you don't really notice it unless you look close.

    Widescreen monitor, great as advertised.

    Had no trouble hooking it up, the one thing I was not happy with is that I had to get a separate microphone and camera sop that I could use it with Skype. It works fine though.

    Perfect "extra" monitor

    This monitor works just fine as an extra monitor for my laptop. Excellent picture quality! The only minor complaint is that the speaker sound quality is basic - but it's nice that the monitor has speakers in the first place.

    LCD with LED backlight.

    Item description is misleading. This is an LCD monitor with an LED backlight. Otherwise it is a serviceable monitor. Do not buy this monitor if you plan to remove the stand. The stand interface provides no cosmetic method for covering the hole where the stand attaches, and cable connectors are so close to the bottom that the connectors extend below the bottom of the bezel meaning there is no way to VESA mount without the cable showing, unless an extended bezel is fashioned, or the entire monitor is mounted behind the surface.

    never again

    I bought one just like this one only it was refurbished and I wouldn't do it again. the text will not stay the same. no matter how many times I set the text it comes back larger than life when I turn it back on. you go cheap, you get cheap
