My 2 year old grandson loved "His Space" - plenty of room for his stuffed friends as well.(Did buy an electric pump to inflate it although the manual one it came with would have done the job.) Especially liked the removable and separate mattress. A crib sheet fit it exactly and it was thicker than I had expected. Softness or firmness could be adjusted. Still plenty of bumper room even with the mattress firmly inflated. Material looks and feels very durable - soft to the touch - no "plastic" feel. The mattress fits snugly down into the bumper. This bed is definitely excellent quality and much less expensive than most. My son & daughter-in-law took it with them when they left, so I'm planning to buy another one for their next visit. My 11 year old, 5' 3" grand daughter can almost stretch out full length in it and wants one! Just a very cozy and comfortable place to be! Any 4 foot tall child would be comfortable in it. Material is plenty 'heavy duty'. Very happy with the size of it. (tip: buy a pump that has a reverse on it so the air can be pumped out to deflate it completely for minimal space storage)
Perfect for sleepover's a Gram's house!
I have twin grandbabies that are 2. They are too big for the pack n play but not old enough to sleep in the spare bedroom alone. These beds will last a long time as they grow and get ready for Gram's big bed in the spare room. We bought two of these through Walmart and shipping was fast and easy (all my walmart purchases are), these beds set up with ease (we used an electric pump instead of the hand pump that came with it). The top is a soft "suede-ish" material so it warm. The mattress is separate from the frame and fits snugly in the frame. The sides are high enough so that they didn't fall out. I put sheets over the unit to protect the "suede-ish" top. They both went right to sleep and slept very well all night. Easy to deflate and store. Great purchase!
Perfect Twin Fit
We have one year old twins and this inflatable toddler bed is perfect for them. I had to go to a wedding out of town and they've never slept well away from home. They did this time! I guess the inflatable "rails" made them feel secure. They snuggled right up to the edges and went to sleep. The first night was a little rough but that's no fault of the bed. That's my twins not liking their routine broken. The second night was much easier and by the third night they were very comfortable and happy with their new sleep arrangements. For now they both fit in the bed together but we'll be buying a second when they get a little bigger so they can each have their own.
I purchased two of these for an upcoming trip. Since I needed two, I didn't want to spend the big bucks on the Shrunks ones. I have a tall almost 5 year old and a 2 year old so I needed something with sides plus be long enough. I also wanted something with a 'headboard' because I know their pillows would just fall on the floor. When I got these, I opened and blew one up (the hand pump was longer but wasn't bad) to see how they were. My girls loved it immediately! They played on it for a week before our trip....ball pit, doll bed, boat, etc.! It was the absolute perfect size for each of them and both fit great in our small hotel room. One of the best purchases I've made (esp for the price)!! And we'll even bring it out on a rainy day for indoor play fun as well! (And our old crib sheets fit perfectly!)
These are perfect!
My little guys - age 5 and 2.5 - loved these. We need extra space on vacation and they wanted to sleep on them. My five year old is in 99 percentile for height and it still worked great and should for a year or so more. And I did not have to worry about my 2.5 year old rolling out. Crib sheets/toddler bed sheets worked great!
Great product! I bought this for my 2 year old to use when we go out of town. He hasnt transitioned into a toddler bed yet, and i thought this would be a good test to see if he's ready... this was perfect!!! The sides are tall enough he didnt roll out, it was not noisy like most air mattresses, a crib sheet fits perfect and he had plenty of room to move around (he likres to "nest")... holds air great... super awesome product
Great Toddler Travel Bed!
Looks just like the photo. Bought this when we had guests staying at our house. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter slept on this next to my bed, as the guests were in her room. She loved her own little mattress, and I loved that it had bumpers all around it! I like that the mattress and frame are separate- Makes it easier to put a sheet on, and can be used with or without the bumper frame. Hand pump is a bit laborious, but its nice to not require batteries or an outlet. Inner mattress has stayed firmly inflated for a week, with no top-up needed! You could potentially use this as two sleeping areas- One with bumpers, one without. However, the bottom of the bumper frame has no padding or air. The bumper frame could be used as a travel play area for an infant. When inflated, the bed's footprint (with the mattress in the frame) is bigger than our convertible crib. If you use the mattress without the bumper frame, its significantly smaller. Mattress will be great for camping and sleepovers! Im happy with this purchase!
My grandson's new bed
I have my 2 year old grandson every weekend and he loved his new bed and actually slept longer and better than in the pack n play.
Perfect toddler bed
Perfect for my two year old. I could tell she was not comfortable in her pack and play any more but she slept so soundly on this bed. Easy to blow up and take down and crib sheets fit the insert nicely. Highly recommend.
Perfect for vacation & home
We bought this for our two year old daughter to sleep in on vacation to grandma's house. It fits a regular crib sized sheet perfectly. Our two & four year old daughters ended up sleeping in it together and, dare I say, HAPPY to share it. They slept better in it than they ever have on vacation sharing a bed with us! We slept better too! We ended up buying a second one for at home when the little cousins come to visit and left the original at grandma's. Grandma showed it off to a few of her friend's for when their grandkids visit. It comes with a hand pump that was easy to use, but we will probably invest in an electric or battery operated pump for the future. Great quality overall. I wouldn't recommend for infants or younger toddlers. Our two year old is out of a crib and sleeps in a toddler bed at home. The girls nicknamed it 'the boat' because of the high sides. Grandma likened it to a really nice blow up kiddie pool with an air mattress inside of it. Great price!!
Awesome little bed
This is a life saver when it comes to camping or staying in a hotel with little kids. My four year old daughter slept in this when we stayed in a cabin that didn't have enough beds. She fit perfectly. Pumping it up with a hand pump was kinda exhausting but it's worth it. Definitely recommend getting it
Our feisty 2 1/2 year old boy is still in a crib at home, but had outgrown his travel pack 'n play just in time for our big family road trip which would include sleeping at several hotels and different family residences... I was quite anxious about moving him into a "big boy" bed while traveling and thought this would provide the security of a crib while being big enough for him to sleep comfortably - as a bonus, standard crib sheets fit the mattress so I brought one from home so he had has own sheets. And it did the trick, and then some!!!! HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, never climbed out (okay, one time he did but we had a stern discussion and it didn't happen again) and slept like a rock the entire trip. It worked out so well, and is so reasonably-priced (1/4 the price of our original pack n play) that I am buying one for each grandparents' house to keep there (in lieu of flying with this, though it's quite compact for car travel) and it should see him through childhood visits as I believe the weight limit is like 70 lbs and the height is 52 inches.
Great for kids!
I have 3yr old twin girls. These beds are great for when we travel. My girls love these beds and are always excited to sleep in their "special travel beds". They hold up well and are of great quality. My girls were jumping all over them, along with a few dogs and cats. The beds were put to the test and passed! I don't use the hand pump that was included, we used an electric air pump and they were inflated in under 3 minutes. And able to deflate them in under 5 minutes. I also used some crib mattress pads, in case of any accidents, before putting on the crib sheet. They do not make that horrible plastic rubbing sound when the kids move around on them, which is great if you are all sleeping in the same room. I was even able to fit 2 of these in a small hotel room.
I just had my twin two year old grand babies over for the week. When we heard the crew was coming we looked for a solution to the sleeping situation. This was the best discission for us. Easy to inflate, nice neutral color, soft flocking around the top, ( the twins loved this). The mattress part is separate from the enclosing ring so I could wrap a sheet around it before inserting the mattress into the ring for further comfort. You could use a crib sheet, I use a full sized sheet set and it worked great. This product is easy to clean, easy to deflate, and pack away. In fact the twins and their Mom loved them so much, that they took the beds with them to use on their vacation. The only problem was the children had so much fun bouncing on "their beds", that sleep time took a little longer. Thank you Intex for the great time and the great investment.
While my 2-year-old granddaughter was visiting, she slept zipped up in a sleeping bag/blow up mattress combination. Most mornings we'd find her lying on the floor with only her head on her bed. The Intex Toddler Airbed was the perfect solution. She loves her new bed so much, she actually volunteers to take naps and go "night-night"! Aside from the, unique, soft, higher sides, the removable, blow-up bottom mattress gives you a comfortable soft/firm option with it's easy hand pump, it fits a baby bed bottom sheet and makes it so easy to tuck in covers. All this and it comes with a carrying case. I LOVE this bed!
Perfect for my 2 year old!
I was looking everywhere to find a inexpensive version of the Shrunks Travel bed for toddlers for our vacations and trips to the grandparents. This bed is awesome! Half the price of the lead brand with all the same conveniences. It comes with a bag to carry it in and a hand pump. I didn't find it difficult or too time consuming to blow up or take the air out. My 2 year old son loves it and my 5 year old daughter loves it too! She is a little jealous that her brother gets to sleep in it and she will have to sleep in a hotel bed. I am very satisfied with this product!
this is the PERFECT travel bed for toddlers
my son, now sleeping in a toddler bed at home, needed a travel option for visiting family. He slept like a champ since this is so similiar to the race car bed he has at home. I knew there was no way I could get him to go back to sleeping in the pack and play after being in a "big boy bed". The only downside is the hand pump and deflating method. It took my husband maybe 15 minutes to inflate, which is fine, we are just used to the ease of the "aerobed" built in pumps. Getting the air out is another story.... it took both of us squeesing the valve and wrestling the bed to get enough air out to get the bed to fit back in it's carrying bag :/ A quick release valve to deflate would be a huge aid to parents. even with the hassle of inflating and deflating , it's a little bit of a pain for parents, but worth all the "effort" when you have peace of mind knowing your kiddos are getting a great night sleep away from the comfort of their bed
Grown-up airbeds should be made like this
I was hopeful this would be a good travel bed for our flip-floppy twins, and it exceeded our expectations. The recessed area is just the right depth and it seems to be comfy. A couple of things to keep in mind, it's still an airbed so put a blanket on the bottom before the event sheet. Also, we didn't even bother with the hand pump. We got the travel compressor out and it was inflated in no time. Too bad grown-up airbeds don't have a recessed area like these!
I purchased this air bed for my grandson when he comes to spend the night. He loves it. He helped his papa air it up and then immediately fell in to it. It is wonderful for a child, and it gives them way more comfort than a pallet on the floor. We are thrilled with it.
so far so good!
I purchased this mattress for my 18mo daughter for vacation. It holds air, and has stood up to my daughter and 3yo niece jumping on it and rough housing! The edges are raised high enough (probably 6in or more) that no child would be able to roll out! This is a GREAT value! I'm glad I decided to try this instead of the more expensive alternatives that have shorter rails!
