My mom and I bought this phone for each of us two years ago and we were satisfied. We honestly bought it because it was the cheapest phone at Walmart that we could use Internet on. My mom never really figured out how the Internet on the phone worked though, but she still liked it.
I never had major problems with this phone. This phone was dropped on concrete many times, dropped in water, my nephew played with it and teethed on it, and it was solid as a rock. The Q key stopped working at some point, but I'm not sure why. Even after I dropped it in water a second time, it still mostly works. The keyboard won't work and all my calls automatically answer, but that's it. It rang every time it needed to, the calls weren't fuzzy or dropped. Getting on the internet ate up its battery like crazy, but I expected that.
The internet on this phone is a bit iffy. You can get on Facebook and Google with it, but that's about it. Sometimes, actually a lot of the time, an error message with a white screen will come up saying "Insufficient memory". It's fine, just refresh the page or close out and go back in the browser. Also, when you're in your Internet browser, you can't see what time it is or the date.
When you get on Facebook with it, you probably won't be able to see pictures. It'll just be a blue screen. And emoticons will just be question marks, empty squares, and symbols that don't make sense. Whenever I "liked" something or commented on Facebook, it always took me right back to the top of the page right after.
Reading Google search results is pretty decent, as long as the article doesn't have too many pictures or ads. Most of my internet browsing on this phone was to read and bookmark articles for future reference. That was all I really needed in a phone, so I was satisfied. You definitely can't watch videos on this phone.
I was able to download pictures and gifs from Google Images and set them as my background. I stumbled upon that accidentally.
It comes with some trial apps, such as Yellow Pages and game demos, but I didn't use them. It also came with Opera mini, which I used to get on the Internet a few times. It looked better visually than the default browser, but it didn't really function better. You could see pictures better and didn't get the "Insufficient memory" message, but it was a real pain in the butt for me to scroll through pages and read on it.
I could not for the life of me figure out how to zoom with my camera, I'm not sure if it came with that function. The camera takes pretty nice pictures though. It also has an option to take pictures with silly frames and images in it, and a panoramic option if I remember correctly. Sending pictures through MMS worked great for me, I never sent any through Bluetooth although I could have.
