Its intended purpose is a "work belt, " but I've been using it as a gun belt for concealed carry purposes. It comes in brown and black. I purchased a black one. Its 1.5 inches wide, genuine leather, double-stitched along each side. The back of the belt is lined with polyester which I'm sure increases its rigidity. The tag says it has "industrial-grade" hardware, heavy-duty strap and reinforced holes to 120 psi each. With my Aker polymer-reinforced belt as the reference, they are both nearly equal in rigidity with the Aker belt having a slight edge. It really looks nice, but is it durable? That's real question. Not sure how it will hold up to metal holster clips sliding on and off of it or how the polyester lining will hold up over time but so far, I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty good alternative to a $100 gun belt. If it continues to perform as a heavy duty work belt should, it just might be the best $12 experiment ever. If not, its just $12 but so far, I like it
