I used the Gerber Girls' Training Pant in 2007 for my daughter & am using these in 2013 for my son. They are economical (wasted a ton of money on the too absorbant Potty Patty pants) and offer a tad more absorbtion then regular underwear. Gerber training pants offer just enough thickness to secure any "dribbles" while letting your little one still feel the wetness - regular underwear can lead to dribbles down the legs & the Potty Scotty/Patty line of pants didn't let my kids feel when they had soiled themselves. Anyways, you can always throw a cheapy plastic pant cover over these if you don't want your son/daughter leaking through onto their clothes while potty training.
I used these to potty train my son out of cloth diapers and loved them! The center panel has several thicknesses of cotton to catch accidents but not too thick to make him think he was still in cloth. They caught enough wetness from accidents to not spill on the floor but DS definitely got wet and knew it when he forgot to use the potty. I gave these a four star because the sizing was way off! I bought the 2T (for 26-32 pounds) for my skinny 23 pounder and they just fit him, especially around the thighs. Definitely go yp a size when buying these!
Soft and comfortable. Easy to put on and pull off. My son has done well with his potty training using these.
