So to start, I was the pickiest person EVER picking out a crib. I literally has been looking at cribs since I was about 14 weeks pregnant and it wasn't until I was 28 weeks I settled on this one after looking at god knows how many. I was going to have to order offline no matter what I did because I refused to settles with something I 'liked' over something I 'loved' only because my local stores and surrounding towns stores didn't carry what I wanted. So when I found this one and fell in love, I had originally found it on Amazon, but didn't want to order from them because that shipper had nothing but bad reviews. So after a bit more searching, I found it on Toys'R'Us. My biggest mistake EVER was thinking about going through them. They not only lied about their free shipping, they also lacked on labeling it a "freight item" which cancels out the free shipping, nor was that included in the guide lines of the free shipping requirements. After an hour on the phone with them, and them hanging up on me, I decided that I would either be stuck with something I didn't love because I was refusing to purchase from them, or have to order from Amazon. I took a chance and typed in the name and style of the crib and thankfully, it popped up that Wal-mart was FINALLY carrying it after checking numerous times before hand. I ordered it right away, along with the South Shore changing table. An e-mail had told me it could take up to 3 weeks to get here. I wasn't too upset with that because I was just happy to be getting it for a good cost and from somewhere I could (hopefully) trust. To my surprise, I got an e-mail telling me that my packages had already shipped, the following Monday after I ordered it on a Saturday. It was here that Friday. So I was expecting a 3 week wait, I got it within 6 days of my order. THAT WAS AWESOME! So then we had to wait a couple days to put everything together until my husband had a day off, we had already gotten the dresser and put it together, although it's worth the money and very beautiful, it was a MESS putting it together and took us almost 4 hours with the two of us doing it together do to the directions being so jumpy and out of place. (May I inform you that my husband worked for a company in which he built and delivered furniture for 4 years and he said he NEVER had that much trouble putting together a dresser.) But the crib was VERY easy to assemble! It was literally a 20 minute job for me and my husband! And I am even MORE in love with this crib once seeing it put together and in my son's nursery!! This crib is DEFINITELY worth the two hundred and some odd dollars I spent on it. And I am NOT a review writer, so me actually coming on here and telling my story about this, is big and shows how happy I am with my purchase, the delivery, and wal-mart for having my item when it was my last hope! :)
